How much does it cost a month for LSU to rent that many rooms in your head?

Group rate bro. It is actually kind of cheap. But the place is an absolute dump. Cannot recommend it.

You forget about the disadvantages UT has with recruiting. TN is not flooded with talent like LA is. LSU is a more attractive job than UT, and if Miles were to retire/get fired LSU would have the ability to go get someone immediately.

Not to mention UT should have only seen a short decline, but Kiffin twisted the knife. Teams like UT should not be down for as long as you have been, and teams like LSU would not stay down too long. It's too attractive of a job these days.

Actually I think LSU has a Les Miles feel to it.
Mad Hatter
3 SECCG apps
2 BCSNCG apps
7 out of 9 Double-Digit Win seasons
Turned down his alma mater twice to stay in BR.
Winning season and bowl game app.all 9 years.
Six bowl victories
Ranked in Top 25 every week except 3 for 9 years.
5-5 vs bama
5-4 vs Fla
7-2 vs Aub.
Visited troops overseas twice
Organized players to work emergency triage on campus after Katrina
Led his first LSU team to the SECCG while playing 12 CONSECUTIVE GAMES WITHOUT A BYE due to Katrina

Yep. Recruiting Fournette and 4 10+-win seasons in a row. We're definitely irrelevant.

Nothing says DECLINE like 33 wins in the last three seasons.

Except maybe 44 wins in the last four seasons.

And 6 out of 9 Top Ten recruiting classes, including at least 3 Top Five - probably #4 in two weeks.

Phil had a great career that ended on a bad note, happens to most coaches. But Tenn was dead when Saban went in dry in the 2001 SECCG. IMO it was a loss that he never recovered from. Most people thought the 21-0 would do the same to Less but he has made his way through with double digit wins both years after.
I think LSU & Less will be ok. SEC is much tougher than it was 10-15 years ago, recruiting is not as easy with great competition across the conference. 10 years ago, did you ever think Ole Miss would pull in a class like last year?
I saw a bama fan say in this thread about La. boys leaving the state. This happens everywhere, how many players from Bama's class are from Bama? Did the top guys from that Ole Miss class come from Miss?
We are in great shape, better than most. Only people in here that should be allowed to talk shite is Bama fans, they are just on a crazy run right now; winning and recruiting. Probably only 2 coaches that I would put ahead of Less in the SEC; Saban & Spurier (I love Spurier, so that is just my preference).
