31 yards happens when the play caller is calling run, run, run, run....

Auburn sold out in 2009 to stop Ingram. They succeeded. They just couldn't stop Greg McElroy.
Meh, not really. We couldn't stop the picks of the WR's is more accurate. Also, the turnovers hurt us in that game. McElroy didn't do anything really special. It was quite an average game for a QB. .

The only reason you guys were even in that game was a bunch of trick plays and then Gus ran out of gimmicks and Greg to Julio could not be stopped. Then Upchurch broke your little hearts.

Alabama has never run a trick play to stay in a game or to get an advantage in a game. Ever.
Reverses? Double moves? Onside kicks? Alabama never runs those.

Receiving stats:
Ingram -
2008 - 1 for 27 yards
2009 - 3 for 21 yards
2010 - 4 for 91 yards
LF -
2014 - No receptions
2015 - No receptions
So, you know. For clarity.

I see many Alabama fans downplaying Leonard Fournette's current and future greatness because he (and the entire offense) has struggled against Alabama.
See this is where you are wrong. Most Alabama fans are fully aware of how great Fournette is and we know how great he will continue to be. His performance vs Alabama is just a great way for us to piss off the L5U fans. Figured you were smart enough to figure this out TT.

Of course they have. Saban always has a few tricks up his sleeve, especially in big games.
But Gus is master of the double reverse WR hail mary, in any situation. He loves it.

I guess a QB completes nearly 70% of his throws on the reg then?
I did not know that.

Yeah but that's all Gus has and when we run them we win, ask Clemson. There's also nothing gimmicky or flukey about a normal kickoff returned for over 100 yards for a TD ask Kenyan Drake and Kermit Whitfield on FSU.
Gus has shown time and time again, his playcalling falls apart inside the red zone, real offensive genuises find ways to work around that.

What about Henry, Richardson, Yeldon, and Lacy?

1. Mark Ingram had no greatness to begin with.
2. LF never quit on his team against bama like Ingram did against Auburn.
3. A little more understandable getting shutdown by bama's front 7 than by Auburn's.

TT, when Auburn goes 6-6 next year and Alabama's in the playoffs again, will your posts continue to degenerate to the whinning, butt-hurt level of Phan and his ilk?...I hope not.

LSU has struggled against any team who can stop the run and force the pass. We could have had Bo Jackson back there, but nobody was going to run on Alabama's defense without the threat of a legitimate passing attack.
Obviously, this is a shortcoming LSU needs to remedy if it wants to return to championship-level football, and one that has been discussed ad nauseam on this board.
