Uh, Bianco built your program from dogcrap. He's been there since 01. Before that it was Pat Harrison who was ran off, Don Kessonger, and Jake Gibbs in the last 50 years. I mean, Gibbs and Kessinger are Rebel Royalty. They weren't going anywhere, nor did anyone else try to get them or want them. Some of y'all wish someone wanted Bianco.

How many baseball national championships has State won versus Ole Miss?

Who has made a run at Lemonis?

State is no better than Ole Miss in baseball.

You have achieved peak State fandom. Goal achieved. You can stop posting for the day.

I’d say LSU, most of the Texas schools (UT, A&M, Baylor, TCU),

I think history has shown that State is better at baseball than Ole Miss.

How many national championships do they both have? Thats the measure of ultimate success, right? Winning it all? Not second place, not runner up, not a participation trophy.

College teams count final fours and elite eights in basketball, Four-team playoffs or Top 5 finishes in football. An appropriate analogy for college baseball is the CWS.

It’s just a matter of time before someone steps into that USC or UCLA job and turns it into a monster.

Not unless one of those schools makes a huge investment into facilities.

No coach can fix those problems and a top recruit isn't going to choose high school facilities over what the SEC and ACC are offering.

Answer the question I asked. Stop making excuses.

And no one still has come to court Lemonis. And State still can't get a better coach.

More people attended my high school games than attend a UCLA baseball game on campus. There is no support

STFU

MSU/Ron Polk invented baseball in the SEC. MSU has had twice as many CWS appearances as Ole Miss.

College World Series appearances: MSU - 12
1971, 1979, 1981, 1985, 1990, 1997, 1998, 2007, 2013, 2018, 2019, 2021

College World Series appearances: Ole Miss - 6
1956, 1964, 1969, 1972, 2014, 2022

That's twice post 1972.

And they cheated to get to the CWS in 1972--they used swimming scholarships for baseball players. They didn't have a swim team.

Was on list:
Stanford
So Cal.

I think this is pretty legit pre NIL.

All the history etc comes second to the dollar bill.

You have A&M, Texas, LSU ,Arkansas and Tennessee to a degree willing to pay whatever it cost to be good.

A&M had one player that was equal to 8 other SEC teams total NIL baseball budget.

At least one CWS appearance in each of the past six decades.

I didn't say anything about State. I was proving that the OP was making an obtuse comment about the history of Ole Miss baseball coaches. Our baseball program is about like the Ole Miss football program. The historical lesser school has caught up to about equal to the traditionally stronger school. Again, this has nothing to do with my original post, and I will post whenever I damn well please.

Congrats on lots of running up.

How many CWS wins?

All you State posters are too embarrassed to answer. That tells everyone all they need to know about State baseball and State fans.
