LSU would sue the frick out of the SEC and win and probably just play an independent football schedule short term until the SEC falls apart. They wouldn’t get the Notre Dame treatment, but could schedule the Purdue’s of the world.

It's all very odd, looking at the timeline.
The SEC creates a rule and institutes some fairly harsh penalties for breaking said rule.
LSU doesn't break the rule.
The conference threatens expulsion.
LSU doesn't break the rule.
The conference sues LSU.
LSU doesn't break the rule.
The conference meets on expulsion.
LSU doesn't break the rule.
The conference continues with their suit.
