Latest on the Oligarch Front: Big Ten and Pac 12 are shaking in their boots right now

In April, I informed you all that the season would be moving to the Spring. This was based on how TV and Advertising were interpreting the science.

However, several things since then have changed, primarily how well the leagues in Bubbles have done. This gave renewed hope for a Fall Season. Now, the Big Ten and Pac 12 eventually got to where I had heard all of CFB was going-- to the Spring and then to a potentially delayed Start to Fall 2021. But, they got here not because of the Science but because of the threat to the economic structure to amateurism that the virus presents.
The latest I'm hearing is that the Big Ten and Pac 12 are petrified that the SEC will do the one thing that I've always thought it would do: Blow up amateurism or redefine it at least to allow for open bidding of players via NIL. Doing this would relegate down the Big 10 and Pac 12 who are hell bent on not changing.

IOW:
I was wrong so here's some excuses to make it better.
Also anyone that thinks football is being played in the spring is a dullard

That is some crazy shite. Then again, it's something you've always thought.

On the contrary it is a very good idea. I think the SEC sees revenue producing athletes, i.e., football and basketball players as hybrid students and employees. And, paying these hybrid athletes ends all the racism talk that the athlete united Communist front groups need to thrive.

So we go from saying with no college football this year that these universities and their towns would be crushed economically to now wanting to allow "open bidding" for hs recruits"? One, how much money we talking and two, where's it coming from?
Kids and their families get paid, some very much, but not even near all of them. Likely no more than 25% anything significant.
Open bidding on top of expecting taxpayers to help pay for their free educations? Not happening. The schools would cease to cooperate in terms of "minor league" football aside from maybe licensing. Meaning the new "league" would need major sponsorship and go forth without the promise of education.
Then with this new league the SEC has "forced", how do you get in? Are you invited free of charge or do you have to buy in? If invitation only, who's doing the inviting? If buy in, who's doing the buying? Can anyone buy in? Who's gonna pay for the lawsuits that ultimately emerge because certain "schools" aren't allowed in? Who's got control of this league? Where's the operating money coming from? Who owns the "schools" football team really? Is it like the Packers and open traded or a group of powerful businessmen, many who will have no allegiences to his owned "school" therefore completely alienating their core fanbases who all the while "just wish things would go back to the way they were"?
It's not fricking happening.
Btw Shaft, this isn't intended towards you but the ops premise.
