Their rationale is abject retardation.

They're dying for the SEC to cannibalize itself and they're engineering that very thing.

If there ends up being 4 slteams from the same league, then they should be in different legs of the bracket.

Tough break for Tennessee to be behind Ohio State.

I think Tennessee would beat them in Columbus. Ohio State is falling apart.

Skullfricked, mad delusion.

But I agree they won’t drop them more than a spot or 2.

So I’m late to the party..soo according to espn..if everything holds up and Clemson wins…Alabama is seeded to play notre dame.lol.and then smu the next round…and then would play uga if within uga’s bracket they beat Indiana and then Texas for a 3rd attempt (assuming they lose that extra game they have to play against Texas in the sec champ game)? And Tennessee would have to beat Ohio state then Oregon to make it as far…lmfao

Wow..let’s be honest ..this sport was dead when they started paying mercenary children like professionals under the guise of nil and pretending that they are student athletes representing an academic university…( now said greedy institutions (should call them financial firms)have to incorporate more over the top greed to purchase prima donnas for the sake of appeasing fans of institutions who in the large part have never set foot on said campus and have no affiliation..add in the free for all free to go open relationship with the portal Wow! ..but this playoff behind the curtain choosing who plays who is some next level idiocracy level bull sh@t..lmao

Money rules the day it’s apparent.

They are simply pulling the biggest names they can for ratings and money…

Notes from last week's poll:
- Indiana dropped 5 spots after losing to Ohio State
- Alabama dropped 6 spots after losing to Oklahoma
- Ole Miss dropped 5 spots after losing to Florida
- BYU dropped 5 spots after losing to Arizona St.

UGA drops 10 spots after losing on the road to Ole Miss. Makes perfect sense.

I've decided to pull for SMU to win it all.

Can't wait to see how this new playoff format turns out...

Based off a three point loss to their biggest rival?

Chumley and Tennessee will fold like a chaep accordian going into Columbus.

The biggest travesty of these rankings is Tennessee having to travel to Ohio State.

Ohio State should have to travel first round.

Tennessee got screwed. Look at the AP and coaches poll. All they did was flip Tennessee and OSU.

That screws us out of the home game.

Just means Vol Twitter will be completely unhinged. We're about to march on Ohio like we marched on Schiano.

Finna take my butt funnel and a truckload of thrift-shop mattresses to Columbus, get annihilated and light a mattress bonfire up in the street.

Considering how many times you used officiating "error" to screw other teams out of victories in that busted stadium I will allow it

Bitch Saban is gone. It sure was nice watching Alabama cry when they get a fair game called.
