No way they don’t have a Regional Host in Texas. They love pairing the Aggies with yall, probably Sam Houston and DBU or a Louisiana School.

I’d rather not have DBU and have a team from the PAC 12 or B1G instead.

I guess Alabama fired their coach and that is the end of that.

No post-season ban?
He must have acted alone.

Correct. They have phone records showing he acted alone.

That's a ridiculous regional for a national 4 seed. Seriously doubt that happens.

Yeah. I guess if that’s how it’s going to be, it’ll be that way, but seems ridiculous for a 4 seed. Either way, seems hard to believe… But it would make for a juicy freaking regional.

I haven’t followed much this year but have seen some of OU, especially since their run last year. I’m surprised they are a bubble team this year. Does their resume really look good enough to maybe get in?

OU lost a ton of talent to MLB last year, and this is a rebuilding one. Having said that they have the best SoS of any bubble teams listed in page 1. They should get in but not sure if they go anywhere. They did sweep Tx @ Tx in a 3 game series this year so that shows they still have some takent. But they are not consistent.

Big 12 will be interesting, 3 teams won the conference title tied 15-9 in conference play - OK ST, Texas, WVU. Their RPIs are all within a couple spots of each other too:

OK ST: 20
WVU: 21
TX: 23

2 hosts from that group seems like a bit much, but I would reward whoever goes furthest in B12 tournament probably with a host site between those 3.

TX got the 1 seed, OK ST the 2 seed and WVU the 3 seed for the conference tournamnet.

Whats sad for WVU is all they had to do to win the B12 outright was not get swept by Texas this past weekend and they got swept by Texas

Also whats the argument for Alabama getting a host site over South Carolina?

Both 38-17 overall
USCe 16-13 vs. Bama 16-14 in SEC play
USCe #6 RPI vs. Bama #12 RPI
USCe 19-14 Q1 games vs. Bama 16-14 Q1 games

Am I missing something

The NCAA doesn't want any tarp shenanigans to cloud the tournament.

How in the hell did Arkansas vs Oregon (the entire state) become one of more heated minor rivalries in college?

Because Arky is SEC... it's ultimately spillover from the year LSU beat Oregon State when they had that insane record. We played them again, and then they started intentionally tossing SEC schools at them. Arky had the natty series, then Auburn went and took their regional.

No, it has spilled over into Track as well. Oregon was marketing itself as "Track Town USA" and then the Arkansas women beat them for a title. It is the weirdest second tier sport rivalry in college right now.

Yup, hopefully we can take care of business, but that would be fun to go to Baum for the Supers.
