It is possible, it is also possible they exploited defenses that are not equipped to deal with them.

i don't know, Kentucky was regarded as a very good defense before that game and was only giving up 12 or 13 points per game.

I believe they were missing a number of starters on that side of the ball. 3 blocked kicks doesn't help your cause either.

Like I said both are possible, I am very interested in the cocktail party this year.

-- Badly misplayed ball on a bad Tebow pass on 3rd & long by McCray turns into a 70-yard TD. LSU responds 3 & out with a freshman QB in a hostile environment. Big mistakes and big trouble early leading to LSU having to go away from its offensive strengths.
-- 2 blocked punts early on, and UK was done. That team had fully quit by halftime.

Every game is different, every matchup different. Georgia got complacent and got jumped early by Alabama. That's not going to happen this game. Florida's going to find themselves in a game against an RB/FB that can pound it on their very average DL with a QB that can burn them when they press to stop it. And that shotgun sweep stuff isn't going to go as easily as it did against LSU/UK defenses whose offenses were giving them no help at all.

so are you just being a fan or do you objectively think that UGA wins, or at the very least covers?

I really liked UF to win by at least a TD,but I don't usually look at numbers too hard until Thursday or so.

I think I will make a money line bet on Georgia. Shoudl get around +175, and that will make it worthwhile, really anything over +150. At least how I see it.

They'll certainly try. And, they may do it. But, my opinion, from the two games against the above, is that Florida is the better team.

They will try. I'm not sure they had the same offensive line last year that they have this year.

Inn order to win the game Georgia will have to play Florida much like Alabama played Clemson. They will have to establish a running game, which I think they can do with Florida's defense, and they will have to control the clock on the ground and score when they have they ball. Florida's defense is not that great.

We were devastated by injuries, graduation, and lack of talent at DT last year. By the Jawja game, we are reduced to playing a 240 DE true freshman at DT. That is simply not the case this year. Our tackles may not be playmakers, but they are stout, hold their position and allow for Spikes and our other LBs to make plays. Other than Arkansas and one run from Mccluster out of the Wild Rebel, our run defense has held. If we play disciplined ball Saturday, we will hold again.

First off BabaRamDass is the first person on TD that I have seen to pick UGA to win this game, and I like his arguement too.

With UGA's ability to run with our HB/FB and Stafford having Massaquoi and Green to hit downfield, combined with Tebow and the option game, or Florida's offensive mobility this game is going to be freaking incredible.

Main points for the game:

UGA defense has to hold true on the line of scrimmage while keeping tight coverage on the receivers because of the possibilties with Tebow

UGA offense has to do what i said above by attracting their playmakers to the run and then hit Green/Massoquoi downfield for six.

UF defense has to stop UGA offense, so just the opposite and same goes for UF offense.

and in order to win, UGA will have to score more points than florida, so just the opposit goes for UF.

UGA has the ability to go on 10 minute scoring drives. That is the best defense that I know of.

I posted it on the Rant before the game... I picked LSU to beat Georgia, 27-17. So I'm capable of picking against my team.
