They lined up Moreno and Southerland (the best FB in the country) and just pounded it down Florida's throat. Stafford had a couple long TD passes as well, but for the most part, the game was won by Georgia just running straight at Florida and Florida's total inability to stop them from doing so.

Why won't Georgia do that again this year?

They weren't mad during last year's game? (The celebration happened very early on.)

i really think that UF's defense is improved from a year ago. Also, UGA's run defense did not impress me at all. I know that LSU's backs are more power vs the speed of Florida....but do you think that UGA can stop Florida's backs?

And UF shut us down on the run. UGA's pro style is fairly similar.

with the ball in his hands, but not as a blocker.

It is. But against the run though? It's actually probably a little worse. Very average at DT and no Derrick Harvey at DE. (Cunningham is good but no Harvey, and Dunlap is still pretty green.)

1) Dannell Ellerbe should be back. That is a huge help for our run D.
2) Give me that Demps/Rainey/Holliday shotgun sweep garbage over Scott/Coffee up the gut behind much better OLs... all day long.

-- Huge difference in Stafford and Lee. LSU also doesn't have a WR like Green.
-- LSU got jumped early and never recovered. Just didn't show up that day. They played a lot better against LSU back home and with a loss on the books putting their backs to the wall.

I think this one goes over 80 combined, and UF comes out on top.

Just my opinion.

Stafford's ability to make plays downfield even when facing a blitz will keep UF from constantly loading up the box the way they did against LSU. UGA will be able to have enough balance to put up alot of points Saturday.

Good one.

The guy is going against complete garbage defenses. He has 2 TDs in his CFB career. He's not even the highest projected FB in his 2011 class, etc.

Southerland has 18 career TDs despite having missed most of his senior season to injury, and as blockers go, Havili is not even in the same galaxy.

"He's overrated. Tebow is better. Last year was just a fluke. Florida will destroy Georgia."

I love that we're going into this game once again this year with this being the general consensus. Get ready for another result that surprises a whole lot of people and their conventional wisdom.

he has 7 TD's this year, averages over 6 yards per carry, is a very good receiver, and is only a soph. He is the best FB in the country with the ball in his hands, bar none. He is not among the top 20 best blocking fullbacks.

i agree, last year everyone said Florida would rout UGA, and Florida's offense was alot better last year, anyone who has seen all of Florida's games, not just their blowouts of LSU and UK realizes they are not worldbeaters except maybe on special teams

you don't think that Florida just took a while to click on offense and are now in a groove?

maybe, but alot of teams have found their groove against LSU, and we've never done well against Teblow, so i'm not so sure
