Last OSU QB to succeed in the NFL?

With all the talk of Mac Jones being graded higher than Fields due to "systemic racism" - total BS by the way - it got me thinking who was the last OSU QB to succeed in the NFL? I feel like they have a stud/quality guy under center every year but when looking at how they transition from Meyer/Day scheme to Pro Ball it isn't very encouraging.
Last 6 OSU QBs
Terrel Pryor
Braxton Miller
JT Barret
Cardale Jones
Dwayne Haskins
Justin Fields
Even with UGA's list of mediocre QBs over the last several years we at least have Stafford carrying our QB torch.
Mac Jones > Justin Fields and OSU's history of QBs flaming out in the NFL is all the proof you need.

A Georgia fan mad about Fields? I'm shocked!

I meant to put Pryor instead of Dobbins. My fault there, it's been redacted

Never understood this logic at all. It should have almost no bearing on the current prospect
I will say though. Its hilarious how much Mac is getting ripped for having a great supporting cast while a guy that went to Ohio State is getting propped up

How many 5* HS QB recruits turn into elite NFL QBs?

So wait, people are saying that a white guy is only graded higher than a black guy because of racism?
Isn't that logic by itself racist?
I can't keep up with this stuff anymore.

It could speak to the system they run at OSU. Maybe, just maybe it doesn't properly prepare their QBs for the rigors of running an NFL Offense.

Unless im mistaken, Fields never took the ohio state any further than Fromm took Georgia.

"Upside" in a prospect has gotten many GMs fired when it never materializes.
I wouldn't draft Fields or Lance in the top 10... even with their "high ceilings."

Is that so? The national media had me thinking Fields won the Heisman and multiple national championships and the only reason Mac Jones went undefeated in SEC play while lighting up opposing defenses (ours included) is because of his supporting cast.

How many really great QBs can you name from most any traditional powerhouse? Get past Manning at Tennessee it gets bleak fast. Michigan use to be laughed at the same way and then Brady showed up at NE. Georgia has Fran Tarkenton, and he played on some great Minnesota teams, even went to some super bowls. Didn't win anything. Stafford hasn't gotten close to Fran the man's success.
LSU and YA Tittle and Bert Jones come to mind. Who else am I missing from the bayou that has a history in the NFL longer than a 5-minute egg?
Florida? Even in the Sprurrier era?
BAMA, had Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler and it's been a while. Great QBs in the NFL that have HOF status and have won super bowls are few and far between for every team in the SEC.
Anyone that finds a great QB that translates to a great NFL player has found the rarest of gems.

Because Bama QBs are prevalent in the NFL and known for their success right?

I'm not even talking HOF. Even 5 year journeyman QBs would be just fine.

I dont think an OSU QB has thrown for over 8k yards in the NFL in their career, ever. Thats just one. with 2 or 3 at around 2k, and most not even over 1k

Pryor, Miller, and Barrett were never NFL caliber QB’s. Cardale Jones had the rocket arm, but his entire momentum came from that run in the playoffs. I think people were just absurdly trigger happy with him. Wasn’t surprised he busted.
Haskins I am a little surprised. I didn’t think he’d be a superstar or anything, but thought he’d be a good nfl qb. He has gone off the rails.

The reason you're not talking HOFamers is that they are few and far between for any University. BAMA has had 3 of them. Joe Namath, Kenny Stabler, and Bart Starr all in the HOF and have won Superbowls.
Richard Todd was an excellent QB by your standards. Todd spent 11 years in the league, threw for over 20,00 yards and 124 TDs. AJ McCarron is that journeyman who is making a career out of the NFL. Jeff Rutledge was in the league for 14 years as a backup in the league. Brodie Croyle spent 7 years in the league. Scott Hunter replaced Bart Starr at Green Bay and played in the NFL for 7 years.
Pay close attention. Hurts, Tua, and Mac are following the tradition.

Bama will likely have 3 former QBs starting in the NFL in 2021...Tua, Hurts, and Mac.
It's been a long stretch from the Starr/Namath/Stabler eras, but how many other teams can say that outside of Oklahoma today?
Since Todd played there have only been sporadic games started by Bama QBs in the NFL. Croyle had the misfortune of playing behind the worst NFL OL I've ever seen in KC the year he was the starter. AJ has been a career backup, but has also pocketed $20 million doing so. Living the dream.

yes, my entire point is OSU does not have a history of producing NFL QBs where Bama actually has. Both HOF and Journeymans who can actually produce to some extent. You are literally adding substance to my original point.
Yet instead of focusing on the fact that Bama has 2 current QBs in the NFL showing promise while OSU's last 6 have all busted the media chooses to focus on the scarlet "R"
