Didn't know her but always enjoyed her enthusiastic posts. Very sad news.
re: How is your side by side ins.?

Son's new Polaris Ranger stolen from hunting camp 1st year he had it. Since it was insured he received check for full value. Would have been painful with no insurance.
Josey didn't want to spend eternity in a coat & tie. The attire he picked out & has on now is a short sleeve Polo pullover & a Braddock Drilling visor.
The Braddocks let us use this camp the last weekend we spent with Josey at Southside in 2013.
Tarver & Josey's daughter were lifelong friends and he was to be her escort to upcoming Neville sorority formal.
Brett is as fine a man as I ever met. My heart aches for him and his family over the loss of his great son.

Your donation to the auction (a new 9mm compact) was very generous and and raised $1,040 ($20/card 52 card deck).
The one I still get a chuckle out of is the donation of a case of 10 year old charter half gallons after production of it ended for good. A real Charter and Josey lover paid $2,000 for that.

It didn't get any better than a good whiskey drink and your gumbo around the fire pit with good music when you and he were in the same hunting club. The good ole days.

Yep, very proud of those kids. I hope al! Has been well with you in the 10 years since I last saw you.I still remember that Sunday morning when Josey left my house headed to meet you for the first time and check out that OB famous pond.
Dec. 2d. will be 10 years since he passed away. His son is now 18 and will head to college in the fall in engineering with a 4.0 GPA and a 34 on the A.C.T. test. His daughter is now 17 and also doing well in school and life.Josey's wife has done a great job of finishing raising their 2 kids who were 7 and 8 when he left this world.
1-4 last 5 games is nosedive trajectory.
Yea he told his wife that he was going to give half of amount FF's hard work product brought at auction to that !little girl he was worried about. He left this world 9 days before the auction but his wife followed through with delivery of $1200 to that little girl. Unfortunately cancer took her too the following year.
Smackoverhawg paid $2400 for it at auction. Per Josey's instructions his widow gave half of that $2400 to the single mother of a 12 year old girl battling cancer in a neighborhood near him even tho he didn't know them. That mother couldn't believe somebody dying of cancer himself with a wife & 2 young kids cared so much about her 12 year olds battle when he did 't even know them. So FF & Smack helped 2 hurting familiies.
You still looking for place to retire?

Accuracy? Why don't you start by spelling his name correctly before moving on to your thoughtless comparison?

They are doing well. His then 8 yr old son is now 16, 6'4",4.00 GPA on football team & looks & acts just like his dad.His then 7 yr old daughter is now a 15 yr old cheerleader with tons of friends & is doing great, other than no dad. He would be proud of the young people they are.

He thought a lot of you too; especially that day he was sick & hurting & you loaded his truck on your trailer to take it in for repairs so he didn't have to call a wrecker. He loved the cooking & drinking threads & would be all up in the one tonight if he was still here.
Should have went instead of correct should have gone.

re: The decision to start Pearson

Pearson was MVP of the Fla. League for college players last summer. His coach of many years in that league said he had never seen a player right out of high school with the physical abilities of Pearson . CJJ wasn't going to leave that talent on the bench long.
