UGA fans- I thought the O line was a reason for concern this season. How do you see the 9 wins?
I guess it's cuz we have a couple of built in wins like Vandy, Moo State, Mizzou, Samford & Auburn

How does one take "EVEN" on teams with fractional win numbers?
Even is not a bet option, it's the odds. If you want to bet a 7.5 line you can either take Over or Under.
If it says Over -120, that means you bet $120 to win $100. If it says Under EVEN, that means you bet $100 to win $100.

Really surprised on Miss state wow
They've got a fairly tough schedule this year.
Charleston So
@ La Tech (no walk in the park)
LSU
@UGA
@Auburn
BYU (no walk in the park)
UK
@A&M
UMass
Bama
@Arky
Ole Miss
So while their OOC doesn't look impressive, it's only got one objectively bad football team in there. Plus they cycle Georgia from the East and their more winnable division games are on the road (Arky, A&M). It's a sneaky tough schedule.
They only won 5 regular season games last year:
6-7 South Carolina at home
2-10 UMass
FCS - Samford
8-5 A&M at home
5-7 Ole Miss (who had given up)

Makes me glad I never got into betting on sporting events.

This regular season only numbers?

Cole Cubelic predicted State to beat Alabama. Not really far fetched IMO
It's incredibly far fetched. Dan Mullen is 0-8 against Bama with a combined score differential of 250-63. His teams have only broken double digits twice in those 8 games (20 with Dak, and 10 in Dan's 2nd season at State).

Other than '09 and '16, Bama usually drops one regular season game.
And '08. And that one regular season game is usually to a top flight team (top 5 LSU in '11, Johnny Football in '12, top 5 AU in '13..can't explain Ole Miss loses as they don't fall in the top flight category, which is why I said "usually").

A&m is too high. More likely to only win 6 or less.

Because you have Mustcramp at the helm. You only have optimism because you think you found a savior at QB. But, he will no longer be a surprise and defenses will adjust to his strengths and weaknesses. Your coach only knows how to build a house of cards. The wind is coming.

Forgot '08, but I agree with all your points. And I'm not saying it's a full gone conclusion that State will pull off the upset. I just point to them as one of the teams that could catch Bama at the right time- especially with it being at home.

Ole yeller teeth doesn't have Boom's D anymore so 8-4 sounds like the cap for uf this year.

This could be one of Mullen's toughest tasks regarding offense. He has Fitz and a decent RB. Zero threat at WR and nobody to push the defense out of the box. He's going to have to be very creative with 3-4 tight ends.
The defense should be much better.
If I was a betting man, I'd be taking the over on every Louisville game this season. L'ville will have the reigning Heisman winner + the nation's worst D Coordinator. 100 points/game should happen several times
