I agree. Alabama sure is coming on strong though.

I wonder why. Is it because New Orleans is 10x cooler than anywhere in their state or because they sucked balls for the better part of the past decade and are now enjoying recent success?

non-alumni, front-running, sidewalk Alabama "fans" = unbearable douchebags

And I've heard the same from many Alabama graduates.

West Georgia area, right now it's Bama, last year, there was tons of AU stuff on cars, two years ago there was Bama stuff everywhere, now it's back. You get the idea...

Seems to be a lot of old money in NOLA. I am guessing that's why Ole Miss and Alabama are up there. Both have a lot of old money that attend both universities.

Northwest Alabama is pretty dominant Alabama. I'd say

65% Bama
30% Auburn
4% Tennessee
1% UGA/Miss State/Ole Miss

If Tennessee is doing well they seem to have a larger presence cause they all drive down to Florence to shop and you see their car stickers and puke orange wearing selves at walmart. But most of them are from Tennessee.

Auburn: 85% AU, 10% Bama, 5% Other
Opelika: 70% AU, 25% Bama, 5% Other

ETA: There's also a lot of Troy people in Opelika, but those still tend to pick a side.

I would venture to say that the Alabama fans in Auburn/Opelika are ten times more obnoxious and trashy than the rest of their fan base. And that's saying something.

Must be something in the water.

I live in a town of about 10,000 people in north central SC, and this will sound crazy, but two seperate houses on my street have Arkansas flags. One of the guys owns a local gym in town, but I have no clue about the other one. Just pretty random.

UGA first obviously but otherwise

1) AU 2) Bama 3) UF/UT

our state goes by geography though. East GA has a ton of USCe folk, west GA obviously is Auburn grounds, south GA has a ton of FSU and UF fans and north GA has some vols. i'd say GT is a distant 2nd to UGA overall and AU has a large enough presence to compete with GT. then there are a good bit of Bammer alum in ATL and south GA but i think beyond Bama all the schools are kinda similiar. i had a tough time thinking of after them but there is a good bit of UF in ATL i feel and UT

I actually do see a lot of AU stickers on vehicles.

I believe I saw one Bama fan here in the Black Forest and I took a pic.

I see more UF, Kentucky and Ole Miss in DC than LSU.

Memphis - UT and Ole Miss are probably neck and neck.

Then Bama, MSU, and Arky

Strictly SEC then Bama. At least they represent a lot more than Arkansas. If not SEC then Texas easily.

It's because New Orleans is cultured and nuanced, something which State fans don't jive with because of the "gays" and such.

Really? I'd say they're one of the least represented I've seen. I'd say Alabama and Florida are tops. Outside of Ole Miss, I'd say Georgia's third.

ETA: Arkansas too.
