Lane Kiffin was mistreated at Tennessee: e.g., the "DWI orgy" that never happened, et al

After Phil Fulmer burned the program down at UT, Lane Kiffin was tasked with the impossible job of turning the Vols around instantly.
No one could have done it. Nick Saban could not have done it, testament being Saban's first year at Bama. But Lane got UT to 7-5 and that was not good enough for the stolen car chop shop capital of the world fans of Tennessee. The Vols, and all 9 of their teeth and their pregnant sisters, "knew" that Lane should have done better.
So then came the attempted frame-up: As Lane was quietly driving home from having one beer with Mike Tomlin and his brother in law, there was a fender bender with his car. The story however in Knoxville went wild, with false allegations of coeds in the car, and a "drunken Kiffin" being "distracted" while he was driving. All lies of course, but UT even called in their friends Clemson to run propaganda for them one of the Clemson boards...

UT and Clemson, brothers of a feather
As if Lane would actually cheat on his wife while he was with his brother in law, his wife's brother. DIDN'T HAPPEN!
So, this (forerunner to what Auburn would years later use as a template to try and get rid of Bryan Harsin with made up lies) was the catalyst that prompted Lane to realize he was among scoundrels and ear-piercing screeching frothing syphilis-encrusted hyenas.
So Southern Cal found out about all this and called to get Lane out of that predicament. As Lane announced he was leaving UT, he literally had women sports reporters throw their tape recorders at him (a forerunner to years later, substituted by golf balls and mustard bottles)
How does a human function in a banshee hell such as that?
Not one of us would have done differently than what Lane did.

He wrecked his dealership provided Lexus while 3 sheets into the wind. He was in the company of some coeds, not his wife, at the time.
FACT not rumor.

Hey Harry, when is Pruitt going to collect all that buyout money from UT?

Yup. Right on Northshore.
He also had an apartment on Gay St. that he used. 700 block above a burger place.
Not exactly a secret in Knoxville

Is this one of your non funny attempts at humor that no one outside of your alters gets?

Tennessee is always on everyone’s mind. I enjoy when you cucks claim you don’t care about Tennessee, but start a thread about Tennessee. Start a thread about the Vols being the best team in the SEC in basketball this year.

Old man's disease here, fading memory. Was Kiffen still married while he was at UT?

Yes. And he wasn't much older than the co-eds he was with. Lane got into all kinds of trouble in Knoxville.
