youre right, getting a raise is a "lateral move" but taking a pay cut is "moving up" lol where is your brain?

Obviously my brain is in a better, more rational place than yours. If he does well, Kiffin can damn near pick his next job, and make much more money long term. LSU is a huge risk for his long term goals.

Doesn't this insult apply just as equally to the school that you didn't attend but like for football alone

Did you go to the Chicago Cubs college? What connection do you have to that team?

Its not a bad job.

Pull out a few good seasons with low level opponents and a rich recruiting footprint?

If Kiffin doesn't come out looking like someone shat a solid gold turd then he dropped the ball in a big way.

This is the sort of job he should have had when he first got a wink and a nod as a Head Coach.

So if he does well at a school that doesn't play anybody and isn't in a P5 conference and maybe gets 8-9 wins at FAU after a couple seasons he can pick any job in a p5 conference and just go there? I have no idea how you can classify that as a rational thought. Maybe after his time at FAU Purdue is still looking for a coach.

Hey at least O has shown us he's better than miles and revamped an entire offense mid season in about a week

O didn't do this. He was playing extremely weak defenses.

Miles started 7-0 last year and LF was breaking records then against the cupcakes.

Weak defenses does not explain the dramatic change in offensive style and getting playmakers more touches on the ball. Granted O still ran toss dive left. He didn't do it on every damn offensive possession. He made the LSU offense less predictable and a lot more productive in terms of yards. Under O LSU put up their most offensive yards in single game history at LSU.

Yep. LSU's offensive numbers coming into the Bama game were better in 2015 than they were in 2016 and the level of competition was virtually identical.

Why don't O just run the offense then?

There is some disturbing things since the hiring of Coach O

1. He promised to deliver kiffin as OC did not happen. He chose FAU and a 1 million dollar cut in pay.

2. We have lost 2 qb commits since he became HC

3. Bama has got two top LB from LA and that is a big need for the tigers.

4. Only positive is we retained Aranda but still had to make him the highest paid assistant to do that. Just concerned about the way things are going at the moment.

Damn, you're dense. Coaching talent is not what concerns ADs. His talent is why y'all have been dick riding him for weeks, and wanted to give him a huge raise. He even had his own page in the binder.

It's a question of if he's matured and is responsible enough to run a program. They like Kiffin, but are scared about Freshwater.

Is USC still not paying him some based on how much he makes at his new schools?

Pretty sure they were still paying him a good bit at BAMA.

Not sure when his contract payments from USC end.

Thats shows how much Kiffin wanted to stay away from LSU. The difference between Kiffin and Herman is Herman took more and Kiffin took less to stay away from LSU. Jimbo was good where he was at.

Wait....Kiffin isn't going to LSU as their OC?

This can't be true....I thought Kiffin was in Orgeron's Binder. WTH?

Took half as much money as LSU was offering, just so he wouldn't have to live in Baton Rouge.

Smart man.

Revamped it enough to score only 16 less points against Bama than Miles did. Truly impressive.
