The SEC is going to punish a school for following a court order? That puts the schools in an impossible spot, don’t you think?
CBS reports Lane Kiffin and LSU recruited NFL players to take the NCAA to court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. These guys didn't do this and now he's recruiting them, Kiffin and LSU were behind the whole thing. And now that the SEC says no, the plan is to sue the SEC and pretty much tell every university president and Sankey, FU, I'll do what I want.
I see this going very well for LSU.

The SEC is going to punish a school for violating a rule. Yes.

It must be true.

Did they?

LSU isn’t going to sue the SEC. The players will. They have a court order declaring the NCAA unfairly treated the 2022s. They have proven a market in the SEC (Ole Miss included in that). The players will sue the SEC. And they will win.
But that may be a small price to Ole Miss for LSU to not have a backup TE or an injured, overweight DT.

Ole Miss is violating a rule by letting Chambliss play.
That rule was circumvented by Ole Miss and Chambliss obtaining a TRO.
Are you saying the SEC will pick and choose what TRO's they abide by?

And who do you think Sankey and the other University presidents will blame for that? ... Maybe the guy going on espn to defend what the players are doing and the guy behind the whole thing.
And now you have national media praising the Big 10 for standing up for the integrity of the sport and making the SEC look pathetic and soft. All thanks to good ol LSU and Lane Kiffin. I have to say, going out of your way to embarass the organization you are a part of and making it look weak compared to its major competitor is a bold strategy. Let's see how this plays out.

Do you agree with what the NCAA did to the 2022s? Utermark and Furniss included.
My expectation is they blame the NCAA. Sark would be next if you have to blame coaches.

Bruh LSU dont give a frick about this integrity bullshite you are talking about. These people are getting paid millions to win football games.
Integrity of the sport lol. Them days are over dog. This is a business man. Boosters are paying millions for product on the field and you gotta feed the shareholders.
You and ole miss can live in poverty holding on to that integrity bullshite. It wont put any nattys in your football ops i can tell you that shite and you will grow old and die never seeing your team win one. But hashtag integrity lol. The frick....

How many active coaches have “won anything?”

It will mirror what the big 10 adopted today. It’s the reason Lane was complaining on McAfee.

How do you think the conference will explain that they're selectively enforcing rules?

I mean I guess lsu can battle it out with the SEC. Not sure why they would want to die on that hill.

Lane was talking about it in McAfee because he was asked about it, cryin’ reb.

Trying to define who is more professional isn’t a defendable rule.
College football players are professionals.
Trinidad is older, played more games, made a lot more money than Dae’quan Wright. Trinidad has professional representation. His compensation is negotiated based on his value as a football player. Who is more professional?
The NCAA continues to lose this argument. Especially in basketball - why is the D-league more professional than a European professional league?
It’s why the NCAA abandoned amateurism based rules and went to an age/experience rule in 5 for 5. The problem is they fumbled the transition with 2022s.

Why not? Don't you think the conference should enforce rules fairly and not pick and choose?
