You are SO chapped

Yea, I don't expect this to matter much to how Clemson operates on defense.
We aren't going to be changing much or anything. If we are changing up tendencies and things Clemson will adjust within the first drive or two and move on from there. Venables runs a pretty basic scheme that involves attacking and it doesn't really matter what the other team does. And, because of that, they give up big plays a lot, which they've done pretty much every game against a good offense other than Ohio State on Saturday.
I'd hope we attempt to gash them with the run, because they have not been a great run defense. Pretty good, but not great.

He had 20 and 14 passing attempts in the last two games. Alabama rushed for 500 yards and 6 TDs in those games. Looks to me like Kiffin was trying to get as much as possible out of his offense when he couldn't trust his QB to throw it.
It's not just passing attempts. It was the amount of times that he kept it or the designed QB runs right after Bo Scar had successful rushing. It's simple. When your QB is shaken, you don't give him any decisions to make. You give it to the RB until the defense proves they can consistently stop him.

this is the best day of my life.

Many. Nobody even gets your angle here. Is it that this decision by Saban is somehow catastrophic to Bama's chance to beat Clemson? Because Saban disagrees. Most rational people do, too.
My angle is laughing at the "easy transition" and "no big deal" posts.
It's because they're stupid.

And here come the Bama posters pretending this is a good thing and they wanted him gone all along
I don't know if it's good or bad but most of us wanted him gone. His play calling has been crap and Hurts has regressed throwing the ball. We will see soon enough.

as a Bama fan this is a great day for me. I feel confident that the Bama FB team is focused and all on the same NS page.

Lane Kiffin officially out as the OC per Saban! Load up on Clemson boys, it's gonna be a blowout.
Kiffin didn't coach defense

Yea - I don't think anybody knows what Monday night with Sark will look like, good or bad.
But there were plenty of people, many of us who love Kiffin, who were ready to be done with him before this news came out. Maybe that's dumb, maybe we don't appreciate whatever the real reason for our clunkiness was Saturday, but it's not like all of a sudden people decided we wanted Kiffin gone because Saban did it.

This is the first I've ever felt bad for Kiffin. He basically reignited Sabans offense and made it top 10. Fired the week before the national championship.

Guess I am in the minority here but I am anxious to see if sarks offense resembles some of the USC playbook where we actually take some shots downfield off of play action. Sick of the roll out, throw it up in second row crap we see now and middle of the field totally not utilized. Hurts may make some mistakes but will loosen up things. Feel sorry for Ridley this year

Seems like you just want Bama fans to melt and proclaim that Saban is wrong when most of us are fine with it. If I thought, like you, that it was a huge deal, maybe I would.

It's funny because the same thing is said everytime Alabama changes a Coordinator and it typically has been a upgrade everytime in the Saban era.

I don't care if you melt or not. Laughing at delusional posts is just as much fun as laughing at angry ones.

See ya, Lane! I will miss venting in games and yelling, "fricking Kiffin!, and Run the damn ball, Lane!" Next man up.
I think Saban decided this after the Kirby Smart hire last year.
It's not just about the playcalling which is often abysmal. It's the negative plays, the sloppiness, the penalties, and all of the sacks. It's been a recurring theme over the last three years. As bad as Nussmeier and McElwain was at times, I don't ever remember Bama's offenses ever being as undisciplined as they have been under Kiffin. I don't know if Sark is the answer but Kiffin really needed to go.

How many times has it been done a week before the national title game?
