Feeling the need to sign NFL guys because you don't believe in your $50 million dollar roster a week before the season kicks off... Yeah, fear...
or if they’re not going to be on our team then they’ll probably end up on a team we end up playing this season, genius.

Sankey will sanction LSU. It will be fun to watch the LSU fans try to continue defend the PoS frat boy.

As for this, I’m done with the LSU fans on this site. No longer worth the time and effort

There will be quite the pressure from all the schools outside of LSU to slap down these actions. It violates their own sec rules as well. There is little reason to believe Sankey will allow a coach to wag the dog in this instance. No way. It’s an attack on his power and again, the other schools will be voicing their disapproval as well. Similar to the tech situation, I highly doubt this will be allowed.

How’d that end up working out for LSU and Brian Kelly?
For LSU? Pretty awesome actually.

Multiple other SEC schools are trying to sign former pro players as well.

Agreed, they really show their arse on here. I have however spoken with several who are embarrassed by Kiffin and his actions. What’s wrong is wrong, no matter who benefits. But the folks on here have no morals and for that should be and will be shunned.

It's hilarious that some of think this is "wrong" or "immoral".

I think this entire thing is kind of dumb, but do LSU fans think that bringing in guys who couldn't make NFL rosters are going to make them that much better?

I could see them being solid depth pieces and maybe starters as they did get UFA contracts so they weren't terrible, but I don't think this does a lot to help LSU's title hopes overall (SEC or National)

He sure wasn't long in Oxford though.

I doubt he’s at LSU for 6 years.

I can't see these guys being big contributors, they don't have any chemistry with the rest of the team.

The melts and handwringing from rival fanbases is fun though.

No thanks for your heavy contribution to that. When Lane Kiffin has been long gone just remember you were on the wrong side of history bringing in some NFL TE that nobody knew existed

Oh well, I'm sure you'll get over it one day. Worse things are going to happen to CFB before it gets better.

LSU is trying to figure out how to legally sell part of the athletic department to private investors because they are staring at a $30 million loss this year.
