Agreed, so quick to steal the thunder from Tech. Kudos to them. But the SEC officials meet on Tuesday and I’m thinking they will come down hard on LSU and Kiffin. There’s no way they will allow this challenge to the rules go without response.

I disagree. Kids were always getting paid. Now it’s above board and the states and schools with deep pockets can let the free market work. What’s obliterating it is what tech tried to do by spitting on the unforgivable betting on your own sport and team and what lsu is now doing and that once you move on to the professional realm and sign a contract, you are no longer applicable in the collegiate realm.
It’s really very simple. Kiffin doesn’t care, neither did tech but these things have a way of working themselves out and come after Tuesday, a response will be made by Sankey and the SEC officials. This will not stand because it violates the very tenants of the sport, your loser judge and coach be damned.
