Then thank GOD our H&H isn't scheduled with Florida for a number of years, because he'd probably be able to log 8, maybe 9, passing touchdowns in 60 minutes against this Longhorn team.

Is your secondary that bad? I might have to go check out the RRR this weekend. Lived in Dallas for 20 years and never been.

Less and less confident the more he seems insistent on letting Mond shite all over our program.

If he benched Mond it may split the team. He has to have a good reason to stick with him.

That's kind of what they said about Feleipe Franks when he was at Florida. You'd be surprised how winning changes a team's attitude.

I'm just thrilled he gets an opportunity to play in his home state (outside of the game in Dallas in 2017). Very cool story

Jimbo is screwed this year and perhaps next year.. He is stuck with a QB that cannot throw a pass more than 15 yards. Other schools know that and stack the box.

Jimbo cannot bench him because half of the team will will quit on him. His only hope is some NFL team will draft him but since Bill O'Brien got fired, there are not that many dummies left in the NFL.

Everyone's nightmare is Mond will not be drafted and come back next year.

This would not be the year to go.

Not only are both teams terrible (first time OU has been unranked since the 90s and they're STILL favored for the 12th time in a row), but you'd be shortchanging yourself by going during COVID. Win or lose, that game is a blast with the fair atmosphere and everybody's willingness to start drinking at 7:30 a.m. each year

They need to move the game to Arlington. Fair Park is a dump and so is the stadium.

You can thank former mayor Laura Miller for that.

Half the team may quit on him if he DOESN'T bench Mond soon.

Yeah, this year may suck but went in 2015 and had a blast. It got hot as shite and I was dehydrated badly. Overall worth the experience

I went to this game a few years ago when A&M had an open date, and Texas was playing so poorly that they couldn't even sell their full allotment of tickets (got face value tickets on the sideline upper deck). The State Fair is a key part of what makes this game, so, I agree, this would not be the year to go.

Yeah . . .lets supplant the State Fair and proximity to downtown and endless beer and food and over 100 years of tradition for an endless set of parking lots and the chance to eat at Joe's Crab Shack or Hooters.

Great plan.

Wow. What a dummy. I can't imagine what would cause someone to do something so clearly stupid and self-defeating. Surely something so dumb has got to be a unique, one-time occurrence, right?

I get where you're coming from, but NOBODY on either side wants that to happen. Trust me.

Yes it's horrific part of town right outside the fair, but the fair happening concurrently with the game is part of what makes it so unique.

Sorry to derail the thread. If they weren't at the same time, I'd probably enjoy Kyle Trask vs. A&M defense matchup much more than the Red River Shitshow that will determine who the biggest pretender was in the Big 12 in 2020
