Trask told reporters on Monday ahead of Florida’s game at Texas A&M and Kyle Field that he was named after the Aggies stadium. He said his whole family are Aggies, and, “I was definitely raised to hate the Longhorns.”

Trask is a native of Manvel, Texas, which is located south of Houston.

Trask added that, “I’m definitely going to have to get a lot of tickets this week,” and said more than 50 percent of his family went to A&M.

Dang, kid wanted to go to A&M. His offer list was McNeese State, Lamar, Houston Baptist, and UF.

Damn near the only thing McElwain and Nuss got right at QB.

That’s awesome. Aggies in for a rude awakening when they see that Kyle to Kyle connection at Kyle field. Pitts and Trask are a great duo.

Mullen inherited him and started Franks over him for this very reason. Randy Shannon found Trask and got him to Camp, where Doug Nussmier offered. Only thing they did right at UF.

The post-game headline practically writes itself: "Kyle's Field"

We'll never get over "Mullins/Mullens" just like we never got over "Burrows"

Then thank GOD our H&H isn't scheduled with Florida for a number of years, because he'd probably be able to log 8, maybe 9, passing touchdowns in 60 minutes against this Longhorn team.

No. Mullens didn’t recruit Kyle.

Should have gone to Houston Baptist. I've been betting them every week.

Mullins/Mullens/Mullin/Mullen is more like it.

Hope he gets the win there. Nothing against A&M, that's just a good story.

Let's see, who did Sumlin sign at QB that season...oh, I know...NICK STARKEL.

Another gift Sumlin gave us.

He made a 27 year old kid his offensive coordinator, then hired Chavis, then fired Spavital and hired someone even worse (Mazzone).

After all that, he BROUGHT MAZZONE WITH HIM TO ARIZONA. Let me say that again. He brought the one coordinator most responsible for him getting fired in 2017 with him to his next job, and the results at Arizona bear this out.
