Kudos to the University of Arkansas...

This time, honor and integrity trumped on-the-field coaching performance by their firing of Patrino. The university did the right thing and in the long run, will prove the smart thing as well. While *some* of the fan base are more than willing to overlook character issues for a winning coach the administration were not and they should be respected for it...I know, I do.
A lot of people familiar with some of Patrino's former lapses have always known he would at some point either abandon Arkansas or embarass the institution so, no surprise there. It will be interesting who the next victim willing to take the risks in hiring him will be. No doubt, someone will but it's a safe bet the field for Patrino's talents is dwindling.
I wish the true Arky fans the best. This will pass and good football will survive. IMO, the players, fans and university will all be better off when the dust settles. They deserve better and I sincerely hope they get it.

False. Their AD just got pissed off that Petrino made a fool out of him.

Hopefully they remember your post when they're getting beat by Bama or LSU 35 to Integrity.

But Alabama did the "integrity" thing first. Just Arkansas trying to copy Alabama once again.

You do realize the university was facing 150 potential lawsuits from all the people that didn't get the job that Petrino's frick buddy was given.
They did the right thing because doing anything else would have been a catastrophic blunder. Petrino left them little choice.
