These fake injures add massive amount of time to the game.
We have already seen some of the idiotic rules they have put in place to shorten games. Look for more of those rules if we don't stop all the flopping.
We all know the one thing they won't do to shorten games, is shorten the commercial minutes.
Once again, the only thing you can do is cry about it. It's impossible to police.
Go ahead and start forcing players to continue playing through what they think might be a small injury when it's actually much worse because they were scared to get help because you wanted to punish them. Only game/season ending injuries now ok to fall down for.
The only thing they could do is fine a team after the fact. But then teams will just pay the fines for a win. Especially when it comes to big games.
So like I said, offenses better adapt if their entire scheme relies on abusing substitution rules.
How about this? Once teams are on the line, they have 10 seconds to snap the ball. It's only done for tempo, and never done to abuse substitution rules right? So that's not a big deal.

Now you are really bringing the heat. It’s awe inspiring to see a troll and alter reach these heights. You must be the king of insults in Mrs. Johnson’s third grade class. Fly high Vol alter. Fly high!

As has been stated. Injured players cannot return for the series. Make it a minimum of 6 plays out.

This suggestion is almost as stupid as you are.

And now you are forcing players to play through injuries they do not know the extent of because they will be scared of missing out on future plays to get it looked at.
Enjoy your lawsuits.

This isn't new... and it IS unethical. They should bench the "injured" player for the whole series and it would slow down a bit

Keep this up and you can get your post count all the the way up to 100! Then no one will ever suspect you are an alter.

And the defense can fake an injury as they adapted to the rules and the player has to sit out a play. Just like a good DB knows when to take the 15 yard penalty. This is the shitty dumbed down version of the game people like you wanted, so here you go. Enjoy your gimmicks in what used to be a game of strategy.
Cheers Bama Fan

All you hv to do is if a player goes down he is out for that entire series until the offense comes off the field; the next time remove the player from the game! That pretty much will stop this crap

Jeez we had one injury where he faked and the guy who did it is actually hurt and was hurt last week . The other 10 injuries were all legit and most didn’t come back in. I have seen many teams do it including Bama … the second the offense gets rolling I have seen Saban led teams imploy this tactic .

That would just encourage players who are actually hurt to stay on the field. Maybe out for the rest of the drive is a better compromise.
Well if they can stay on the field, maybe they should. It's not just faking injuries to stop tempo that is the problem. It's players thinking they need to lay there every time they are in slight discomfort.

Holy hell, this is the king of bad takes. You have multiple 200+ lb. Guys colliding at 15+ mph on every play. They aren’t fricking robots. Football is physical as hell man.

Football is not a new sport and it is less physical than ever, yet the instances of players laying there instead of getting up and getting off the field is as out of control as is faking injuries. The bizarre labeling of softness as a virtue in our society is also out control. It should be embarrassing to lay there without an actual injury that prevents you from getting up.

It’s an issue, but all teams do it. Nothing they can do since officials don’t want to guess whether a player is faking or not.
Make them sit a series. Would end this immediately

The tempo offenses are pretty unethical. Trying to stop defenses from substituting and running absurd numbers of plays at high tempo increases risk of injury to the defensive players and also puts intentional strain on the officiating. It's a cheap strategy

It is but I remember when we had a good offense and other teams did this to us every week.
