I am sure most coaches think the same but won’t say it out loud

A player being developed and getting paid are not mutually exclusive

Lol that isn’t the NIL burn you think it is.

I don’t see where Kirby said he was quitting because of player relationships.

Saban said he supports NIL, but doesn't think players should be a school employee.

Kirby recently said about coaching at a top level program at your alma mater - it doesnt get any better than this. Kirby is competitive as hell and he loves what he does.

Of course it is when you add in wholesale transferring at the whims of a sulking player. He will go elsewhere and suck there also, because he never has to learn there is a price to pay to be the best. Instead he learns the cowards way out, go to lesser team to be a starter (maybe) and then when the draft comes and he's not drafted or is a 7th round pick, it will be too late to learn the lesson.

NIL should have been on the PLAYERS ONLY, of course Texas AM had to screw that up, but of course the NCAA should have foreseen this BS.

As I have stated, the NCAA should have called these liberal lawyers bluff. Well then, we the NCAA will just do away with al Scholarships henceforth. Those liberal lawyers would have BACKSTEPPED quicker than a coward at bar-fight.

But they are stupid people too caught up in transgender men winning swimming titles.

Huh? What do mean?

It’s a good bet that your own coach doesn’t like NIL and the transfer portal the way it is now. Saban is retired and Kirby Smart is a great recruiter that apparently doesn’t mind telling the truth.

Because pay for play isn’t NIL , as intended

Every college coach is a tyrant at heart. They aren't comfortable dealing with empowered players.

Some people on this board argue excessively if Alabama or Saban is in a sentence . . . even if it makes zero sense and/or hurts college football.

It hurts this forum a lot.

Saban has permanently scarred the majority of these fanbases, so it really isn't surprising. If Saban said "water is wet," there would be arguments against it on this board.

All the NIL problems were very predictable. This was the reason the schools resisted for so long . There’s gonna be a long adjustment period for sure.

Everything about the portal and NIL is fine. Saban was just whining. Only Bama fans think there are problems. Everyone else is A-OK with it. I saw that evidence here yesterday.

Yea, I'm sure he does but Kirby didn't sound cool with everything after the FSU game.
