Yeah, that would've been cool if he could've padded his stats against Georgia Southern, Northwestern State, Vanderbilt, and Utah State.

Weird teams to mention, why did you pick them?

I really was just as impressed with justin Jefferson as I was with chase and smith. There great ,dont get me wrong, but if you watch jefferson,he just has unreal quick feet and hes so creative in how he gets open, catches everything and ran a faster 40 then we thought he would at 4.4

It's obvious hes great in the nfl now but I thought he'd be great 2 years ago too.

His numbers don’t sniff the Heisman in a normal year, that’s a fact.

Asterisk

Didn’t even have to look and I knew what school this was from.

JaMarr actually had other receivers on his team though

You don’t seriously think Smith is putting up anything close to those numbers if any 2 person combination. If Waddle, Jeudy, or Ruggs were there this season do you?

Chase had Jefferson who is better than all of those to contend with plus Marshall

Sure but LSU threw the ball significantly more than Bama does this year. And Burrow is a stop above Mac at this point. I’d also be willing to bet that Devonta has seen way more double coverage than Chase did

The stats for our recievers were unreal . It's hard to get those numbers with a great 2 and 3 reciever but bamas are good too.

Actually jefferson had 111 catches . More then chase. Chase is second in 20 plus yard tds .since 2019 season started, and he hasnt played a game this year.

Lsu will never have a group like marshall chase Jefferson again

Bama fans, you probably will never see the combo yall had again production wise. .both of us had multiple recievers that will go down as some of the best in the history of college football.

Chase
Jefferson
Marshall
Jeudy
Ruggs
Waddle
Smith

Theres no way there will be more recieving talent in a game ever again. Seriously

But the difference is that Devonta Smith actually makes BIG catches. The game-changing kind. He's clutch

Never is a long time. Smith is the most deserving of the Heisman this year, and I hope he gets it
