he calls them, "dungeons".
Smart said he wasn't surprised to hear about LSU's charges against Texas' locker rooms lacking A/C (sounds like he believes LSU).
Read to the end...a comment is made about Tennessee's locker room, and a comment about last year's LSU game incident at the hotel.

Away locker rooms are always going to be a little on the cheap side...
Iowa actually paints their guest locker rooms pink. The color is supposed to take aggression levels down or some shite.
Bama's guest locker room is called the "Fail Room". One of the Bama donors' last name is "Fail" so they put his name on the opposing locker room.

Am I alone by thinking crappy visitor locker rooms is funny and awesome for college football? Going on the road to someone else house, shouldn't feel like you're at a resort. No AC is petty and too far, but give the team a place to change and lets play some football. Its part of home field advantage.

As long as the basic needs are met, I'm fine with it.

Last time I checked I doubt LSU has anything to do with the hotel's power grid.
LSU stayed outside of Austin in Round Rock.
LSU usually stays outside of the main city of road games if it's feasible.
Next time I recommend UGA stay in Port Allen or Gonzales.

At Duke in 2010, I remember sitting in the stands and watching Alabama walk across the adjacent practice field from their locker room on the other side. Duke's visitors' locker room isn't even in the stadium.

who the hell wants to spend money making their opponents as comfortable as possible? Im sure every visiting locker room this day in age seems shitty when everyones locker is a customized living area with fvcking playstations and putting greens or whatever other ridiculous over the top shite they have.

I’m not picking at anyone or trying to start a argument when I say this but December 1 2012 state championship games there was no air in visitors side at Williams Brice. Now it was one of those unusual hot December days where we needed air and it may have been just shut it off or something. They may have it now or might have been cut off but that day I wanted my air
Visitors don’t necessarily get what you expect to be honest. Michigan use to not and may still not have lockers. Just a nail on the wall. Pretty sure it was still that way when App won there.

We are generally known for being hospitable to opposing fan bases and teams at LSU. Probably have one of the nicer guest facilities in the nation

I hope we upgrade our opposing team's facilities just a little to show that we care about the players enough that we want them to stay cool. It will be the first step to get them to transfer to a classy university that values ethics and hardwork and the safety of all players. I'd also leave fliers on how to enter the transfer portal and who to contact at Mississippi state if interested in joining the best coached football team in the country.

I've always thought that we should fill the visitors locker with video games and candy and soft drinks. Make it too comfortable and a place to stay and hang out

The "Fail" room at Bama for visitors, used to be the Home locker room. When they added the North Endzone in 2005 is when the team moved to the other end of the stadium.

another option would be to have the girls from the Pony to stop by the hotel where the opposing team is staying. Just you know drop off a couple of coupons for a free drink and welcome them to starkvegas.

Which is great, but it isn't a dump.
A survey of 36 players by the Tuscaloosa News? Really?
I don’t know how LSU’s visitor locker room is comparatively with other SEC schools, but I wouldn’t put a whole lot of credence in a survey conducted by the Tuscaloosa News consisting of a few dozen football players.
