I am shocked more people dont care. Pope was an idiot and he knows it.

Who gives a frick? He's a UGA player celebrating his own team losing on the field after the game. He can go party with his friends later.

He's been critical of the guys getting caught for speeding. I don't recall him having no reaction to that when asked about it at PCs.

That was Nuss that went over to Milroe to congratulate him.

I saw a video of him walking over so maybe it was more than one.

I'm certain there were, as it happens in every game. I'm pretty sure the player I was talking about was Aaron Anderson.

Pope should have stayed at BAMA.
I don’t recall any of his Bama coaches ever calling him an idiot. He probably would’ve seen the field a lot this season at Bama too. On second thought, maybe Kirby is right?

I treat the players like the coaches now, just paid mercenaries. Too many of them only care about getting paid and/or getting to the next level rather than winning.

I agree. He's an idiot, just like Kirby said. He needs to pack his bags and gtfo.

I think it's harsh too and I don't understand the reason for needing Kirby's reaction. We see NFL players exchanging jerseys on opposing sides. They are all competing on the field, not off it. The kid wasn't celebrating Ole Miss's win he was hanging with his friend.

“First and for most I want to apologize…”
So not everyone gets an apology.

His reaction was dumb, when the field is being stormed you get off.
This is up there with Mason Taylor hanging out with a guy that cheap shotted his qb.
Still worse is a coach like BK smiling after losing

This really made me dislike Kirby.
Kid is happy to see his friend. frick Kirby.

It looked like he was celebrating the loss in the video, so yeah, he's an idiot for that.
I’m starting to notice a pattern in Smart’s behavior.

Damn, that’s harsh. Kid’s an “idiot” for hanging out with a friend? Maybe I’m missing something, but that’s shitty
UGA’s is looking at RICO charges and he’s worried about this?

I'm not upset at Kirby for this.
Some things I don't ever want to see, and I don't care about the circumstances:
UF players and Noles being friendly in uniform, after a game, on the field.
UF players and Georgia players being friendly in uniform, after a game, on the field.
A coach smiling after a loss.

I don't get this comparison. Yes, players congratulate their opponents. That's sportsmanship.
Show me the NFL players who jump up & down & celebrate their own team losing with the opposing fans.

People treat sports like wars these days. It's a game, treat it like one. There is no actual suffering incurred because your team loses. Some of you are the overzealous little league dads yall like to rag on so much.
