re: Thousands of Pratt votes thrown out due to "signature irregularities".
Posted by Boss13 on 6/11/26 at 3:03 pm to Night Vision
According to the paper in the picture, they just have to sign the paper and the vote will be counted.
It doesnt make sense that this is fraud because if it was 18,000 Pratt supporters, then that would mean he is about to get 18,000 votes added to his talley.

Are any of the people involved famous?
Probably because the killer was paid 700k for killing a white kid.

They had a one-child policy from 1980-2015, so how did their population rise from 980 million to 1.4 billion in this time? The math doesn’t math.
Probably because a lot of old people and adults died in the famines leading to a relatively young population during this period so your birth/death ratio remains high.
What a Pierwsza shite.

Its actually pretty decent. I think it gets a little too far away from its noir themes at times for shots that give the audience a little too much room to breathe but so far I can easily recommend.
I would have never imagined Nicholas Cage as Spiderman, but he really kind of nails it.
Disclaimer: Ive only watched in black and white.

re: What do you think about the horror movie "The Burrowers"?
Posted by Boss13 on 5/26/26 at 3:52 pm to Dawglovertoo
It was fun as a cheesy monster flick with decent concepts. The only part of it I didnt like was how slow the monsters were vs what they were supposed to be.
For example, they were mostly seen hunting above ground but they were so slow it was hard to see them as dangerous. They should have been ambush predators alah trapdoor spiders or something else.

And not a single source was had.

That doesn't mean ALL regulations are unnecessary
Literally no one is saying that. Excessive regulation makes things more expensive and creates a higher barrier to entry, thus decreasing competition.

There's no way anyone actually believes this has anything to do with grocery prices.
The entire world has been moving away from HFC based refrigratiants for nearly 10 yrs now.
Utilities and refrigeration take up 3-5% of revenue. Also, the reason the world has moved away from it is because the EPA banned it. Quick Google search tells me the USA is 20-50% of all HVAC sales.

The new freon is extremely flammable.. Am I right about that?
Its not "extremely" flammable but its flammable enough for codes to be updated which is where its going to add costs.

I'd like to hear the logic behind this one
Did you not notice how the prices of new HVAC systems quadrupled? You think this was just because of inflation? The new refrigerants developed have zero compatibility with legacy systems and many are flammable enough to need addition protection systems built in. This means almost completely revamped supply trains and install methods.
Stop being a contrarian retard.

See light bulbs or gas cans.
Not necessarily, there are a tons of legacy systems chugging along that can now be repaired instead of replaced, saving $1000s.

President Donald Trump is set to announce the overhaul of two Biden-era Environmental Protection Agency rules for refrigerants in a push to lower grocery costs for consumers, according to an administration official.
Holy crap, will we be able to get the same refrigerants our systems have been using the past 30 years?

Got the same kind of scam several weeks ago. It was conveniently (inconveniently?) after I had a summons and didnt hear anything back after registering. I was actually nervous until I told him I would head down to the sheriff's office to pay and he said I couldnt hang up or I'd be arrested.
Told him to go frick himself after that.

This is why Vegas always wins. People cannot set aside emotion. If people made an honest assessment, they would determine that going to Vegas to gamble is a (generally) losing proposition.
You are correct.
All I am saying is that it moves the needle a significant amount to the expected outcome. You are still playing the odds.

I don't see how polymarket is relevant for any office outside of POTUS. Would a poll of voters outside of that district be relevant?
Polymarket matters because its the most honest assessment of what people think will happen.
When people have to actually put money on the table, they are far more likely to set aside their emotions and bias and make an honest assessment of what they think will (or will not) lose their money.
