IMO the recruiting sites overrate players based on which team offers them.

It is interesting that UGA claims 20 ish 5 stars in their two deep. Loses to,South Carolina and gets lit up by LSU two years in a row. There is only one ball so having three or four five star RB does not help that Much. LSU has learned that stacking up 5 star skill, players does not help until you solve QB and line of scrimmage. At least in the SEC West

UGA plays in a relatively weak SEC East. Florida has been down. The west has Bama with LSU Auburn and TAM trying to compete. Not having the competition might be hurting UGA.

When Mullen gets a QB to fit his system the competition will get tougher for UGA.

Don’t know anything about Kirby player not liking playing for him.

Kirby pressers are a lot better than Mullen.

I am not afraid of UGA; truth be told- I like UGA more than some of the other SEC schools.

As someone who is not breaded in the SE, I like SEC football. I just find it very intriguing that UGA can't win a championship with all the in-state talent. Its sort of fascinating to me and my buddies from the PAC 10/12.

Why is it fascinating lmao. Uga had never been a recruiting powerhouse until about 3 years ago and even still, you have to compete with Alabama, LSU, auburn, Florida, etc. Try harder.

You don’t find anything intriguing. You’re just another pathetic troll spouting complete BS like every other moron on this board.

Only losers puff chests about “historically relevant program” rankings. We DAWG fans have spent the last few years, and will spend the next few enjoying exciting winning football and competing for championships..win or lose at the end. To answer you...It feels great!

WGAS.Were you really gonna bench a QB coming off a NC and the best freshman year in UGA history?

Kirby does not know how to develop his players

D'Andre Baker was a 3 star prospect who turned into 1st Rd pick.Eric Stokes is another 3 star who'll be a day 1 draft pick.Tae Crowder was a 2 star RB who became a 2 year starter at LB and will be an NFL draft pick

Kirby has a propensity to throw his players under the bus. I hate this the most about Kirby.

As a result, players leave him every year because they don't like playing for him.

Have you seen how many players who leave Bama early? You recruit great players and they'll leave early.Happens at Bama,LSU,Ohio State, etc

Most of the 4* and 5* that UGA gets turn out to be average players is a reflection of coaching

This will be a record year for UGA players
drafted.

I sure hope like hell LSU does not do a NO Saints trick on Monday, and choke on that Louisiana Gumbo. Clemson is no joke. If LSU does not win Monday, they will be back to the LSU that everybody was accustom to seeing every year prior to Joe.

Win or Lose - I still think the Tigers take a step back next year unless Bama just completely collapse.

A lot on the line for LSU, I don't think it will but it could turn into a fall from the peak of Everest to the below sea level shitholes of New Orleans emotionally.

Kirby has made one major mistake in 4 years in Athens - letting Fields go.

2019 stats:

Jacob Eason - 260 of 405 for 3,132 yards with 23 tds and 8 ints.

Jake Fromm - 234 of 385 for 2,860 yards with 24 tds and 5 ints.

Will Fromm be the 2nd UGA (or former UGA) QB taken in the draft this year?

There isn't much difference between him and Eason.

How he chose Fromm baffles me. He lost a lot of the players with that move. I know UGA coaches that told me it wasn't close. The players knew, the coaches knew, now the fans know but could Kirby really not figure it out?
