The whole staff is making a visit time. I guess if the mom refuse to answer the door, the other coaches will sneak in via the basement window. Kinda like a stake out to ensure Zack Evans doesn't run out the back door. :pimp:

Tennessee trying to go in-home with five-star

247Sports has learned the Tennessee coaching staff is trying to see five-star running back Zachary Evans for an in-home visit on Friday...
The kid could turn out to be okay. You just never know with these high school players.

If he goes to a school in the SEC, I think it would be great which is why I love watching SEC games. The competition is fierce. :nana:

A lot of my friend her in Cali/Wash try to down-play SEC football but, IMHO, its the best and its not even close.
C'mon Tennessee- Lets just hope he is worth it.

2 Things Bama and LSU Have in Common?

Posted by CFBFAN2018 on 1/26/20 at 10:22 am
They both reside in 2 of the worse states in the country- Bar none

Lack of Education
Poverty
Depressed Economy

...but they have great football programs

:dude:
I never thought the Vols would be so desperate.

:nana:
Whats up with that, Florida?

Newman floats the ball he’ll never play for UGA

D’Eric King is the one

You're obviously a hater. Why? Did a SEC coach or girl pass you bye. :nana:

MO the recruiting sites overrate players based on which team offers them.

It is interesting that UGA claims 20 ish 5 stars in their two deep. Loses to,South Carolina and gets lit up by LSU two years in a row. There is only one ball so having three or four five star RB does not help that Much. LSU has learned that stacking up 5 star skill, players does not help until you solve QB and line of scrimmage. At least in the SEC West

UGA plays in a relatively weak SEC East. Florida has been down. The west has Bama with LSU Auburn and TAM trying to compete. Not having the competition might be hurting UGA.

When Mullen gets a QB to fit his system the competition will get tougher for UGA.

Don’t know anything about Kirby player not liking playing for him.

Kirby pressers are a lot better than Mullen.

I sure hope like hell LSU does not do a NO Saints trick on Monday, and choke on that Louisiana Gumbo. Clemson is no joke. If LSU does not win Monday, they will be back to the LSU that everybody was accustom to seeing every year prior to Joe.

Win or Lose - I still think the Tigers take a step back next year unless Bama just completely collapse.

You sound scared AF

I am not afraid of UGA; truth be told- I like UGA more than some of the other SEC schools.

As someone who is not breaded in the SE, I like SEC football. I just find it very intriguing that UGA can't win a championship with all the in-state talent. Its sort of fascinating to me and my buddies from the PAC 10/12.
quote:

The Fear on this Board is unreal. Kirby has made one major mistake in 4 years in Athens - letting Fields go. Everything else is basically collateral damage from that. Homeboy is 44 and will be around longer at UGA than any other SEC East coach. By far. Call me in 2050 when Kirby finally removes his foot from Florida's arse.

That mistake could cost UGA a championship for years to come.

Also, realize that Kirby has developed a reputation as abad coach. The players obviously don't like playing for him.

All that said- I think UGA will still win the East next year and be in contention for the CFP. If they are able to get a more mobile QB that will help with a young/inexperience Oline.

Lets look at their current roster:

They are set in the backfield and their defense will carry them. As a matter of fact, I like their chances of running the table more, if, that's a big if, they can get a mobile QB at QB. Fromm was a leader but he was just too immobile and returning to UGA with a less experience line would not have helped the team. A mobile QB will help extend plays and open up the running game. see LSU.

Their Oline will be fine

They have the WRs to help out

They have the backfield and another 5* TE

Kirby has to drop his ego and pull everything together. Right now, his coaching style and game day strategy is NOT working. He's been exposed. Otherwise, he will find himself back as a bonafide Coordinator in 2-3 years either in the College or Pro.
Disclosure: I have a soft spot for UGA...I was a big fan of Gurley and was broken hearted when Richt misused him during the SC Gamecock game. That said- Kirby is in over his head.

No one will ever convince me that Fromm was a better QB than Fields.

Most of the 4* and 5* that UGA gets turn out to be average players is a reflection of coaching

Kirby does not know how to develop his players

Kirby has a propensity to throw his players under the bus. I hate this the most about Kirby.

As a result, players leave him every year because they don't like playing for him. He is very erratic and out of control on the sidelines. I think this because he's trying to compensate his emotions and passion for his lack of experience and talent in-game management.

Should the CFA Kick-off Game change its match-up strategy? The other kick-off games seem more appealing.

Gators Have NO Room To Laugh At UGA

Posted by CFBFAN2018 on 6/21/19 at 5:28 pm
The Gators have no room to laugh at UGA for having a player dismissed from the team for assaulting a woman.

Someone needs to remind them of the drunken sailors' name Zach Smith and Urban Myer.

Smith was beating his wife while she was pregnant and Meyers knew about it and did nothing while at Florida.

When has Florida ever accepted a transfer with a history of women beating? I’ll wait.

You must have forgotten about you once had a coach (Zach Smith) who beat his pregnant wife and a head coach (Urban Myer) who condoned it at UF?!?!?!? :nana:

Oh wait- you're right- that's nothing. :rotflmao:

You had a serial murder on your team who went around punching and shoting ppl and sleeping with men, all while at UF under your head coaches' watch.
I'm sure they turned the SEC down...they didn't want to be their punching bag.

Oklahoma would be no better than A&M in the SEC which is why they always get their :spank: when they play them.

Go back to WV.

Say what you will about the SEC, but they own college football and do not need Oklahoma. Hell, if they needed another power school they would reach for the stars and not settle for Chok-lahoma
Alabama has such a rich tradition in College Football but such a poor quality of life outside of football. I just can't imagine living in such a hideous state. :rotflmao: At least the following schools have something to look forward to besides college football.

Florida- Beaches and beautiful women and professional sports-
LSU- Bourbon Street and professional sports
Tenn- Professional Sports
GA- A-town and professional sports
Kentuck- Derby
Vanderbilt- Professional team and downtown Nashville

Born and raised in Seattle. I work in the Marina area but live in San Jose. I love it here.

I will be traveling with my wife, son, and nephew to attend a road trip to catch the iron bowl next year. But the fans in Alabama live and breath college football which is sad like there's nothing more to live. Literally, I wonder if it is the only thing that really generates money and recognition for the state. So sad.

What do they do from January through September? Ninety-five percent of this board participants are Bama fans. Do they have real jobs and families?
I don't think its humanly possible to live in Alabama. Do they have a quality educational system? Do people really visit that state? Do they all married 2nd and 3rd line blood relatives?

Does anybody watch First 48 Hours? Birmingham, Tuscaloosa...I must admit that Alabama is an interesting state.

So guys while you rightfully so brag on the Mighty Tides, which deservingly so, I can't imagine a life more brutal than living in Alabama. :usa:
...in the top 20?

Why are they considered this world beater team this year? Is it because they run up the score on inferior teams?

I'm just keeping it 100 with the SEC fans. If they lose a game this year they will not make the playoffs because of their weak schedule. The game with Louisville now seems pedestrian consider that got murdered by GT and A&M is not as good as originally thought.
