He’s just doing what any coach in his position would do.

If we didn't know any better we'd think that he "threw" the game with that fake punt. His way of thanking Saban for making him a significant head coach in the SEC.

I liked the call. You can't say he didn't go for it. I honestly will take that over the playing not to lose mentality that Orgeron displayed against the Aggies.

Hey Gators remember 4TH AND DUMB? The moniker now belongs to Kirby and the Doggies.

All that he should say: I was trying to win the damn game.

Yes, because Georgia NEVER fires coaches that only "almost" win titles...

Oh, wait.

It was 4th and 11 at midfield AND Bama had their defense out there.

It was the right thing to do. Kirby is very counterintuitive. That is what makes him special.

Saban started it years ago.

There was no need.

You pin Jalen deep in his own territory and the play calling is limited and there is a good probability you getting the ball back with great field position. We don't have JK Scott to bail us out this year. Despite the earlier miss you have a money FG kicker who can make them from 50+.

It was a colossal blunder of a call. He's young and will learn. Only year 3 as a head ball coach.

Yeah, as a Bama fan, I’m so glad he did because they were going to OT at best if he punts.

Reminded me of the Mad Hatter except I don’t think even he would have in that position.
