I mean, Kirby Smart is a douchebag. This isn’t surprising.

Really? I'm asking sincerely because I'd like to know the back story if there is one. I always assumed the Tuscaloosa/Saban tree hated Gus for being goofy and not running their style of football.

We're in the state of Georgia, where talent lives. We're supposed to have talent.

A lot of people compare Smart to Richt but I think it would be more accurate to call him a better recruiting Ray Goff. As an on the field game day coach Richt was far superior to Smart, he just couldn't recruit as well and probably didn't manage the roster overall as well.

Literal internal locker board material...
How in the natural frick is that "locker board material"?

"Guys, the opposing coach says we are really talented. Let's show him how wrong he is".

One of the more accurate things I've read on the rant. I will add this though, Richt's teams could be LETHAL on gameday when he was on. Look at the '02 season, the '03 season with a largely freshman OL (until the wheels fell off when injuries piled up), games with LSU in '04 and '05, the second half of the '07 season. He had some gems in the latter parts of his career too. That '13 game with LSU was insane and the Auburn beatdown in '14 was ridiculous.
Richt also played Alabama's 2012 national championship team to a 4 point loss in an all-time SEC Championship classic that was anybody's game in the end with 70 scholarship players.
But Richt could throw some snoozers out when the team looked half prepared. Carolina multiple times. Tennessee in '06 and '07. Florida. Lots. It was maddening.

Eh. Goff imploded and cratered on his fifth season. It's possible, but Goff never had the success Kirby's had through his first 4 years.

Must be embarrassed that he can’t bring home a championship with all that talent he has.

Maybe you should go convince your own board/fans. You have a thread all about this subject, and here are a few comments made by them:
Gus only uses coach speak
That was fricking brilliant. It's the exactly bull shite that moron Gus spews every damn week. So tired of his coach speech.
Don’t think he was calling out Gus. That’s just how everybody is interpreting it because it’s rivalry week.
Think he’s just saying all coaches say that so it doesn’t mean much. Which is a true statement
Kirby’s right about the coach speak but if you listen to the clip it’s pretty apparent Kirby is just annoyed with the reporter by the question.
and next week it'll be Sam Pittman. Although probably not as good or pointed.
Nice attempt, but maybe you should see it for what it is. The other Auburn posters seem to be able to. Why can't you?

Johnson touched the ball more than any other RB that played that night. That is a tired excuse that simply does not hold water.

I don't remember him doing that either. However, he also didn't keep a full roster of scholarship players, and recruited poorly across the OLine and DLine.

The Athens Police Department assisted with roster management along with Mark

Your idiocy of UGA and Kirby never fails to surprise me.
Kirby accomplished more in 2 seasons than Goff in 7.
Goff was never even a coordinator before he became HC and was even an effective recruiter after his 3rd year.

Richt should have lost to Georgia Southern in OT in 2015.Richt also
had a losing to RON ZOOK.Perhaps the worst coach in UF history or at least the last 60 years.
You also said UGA had the "worst coaching staff in the SEC"
LSU would trade DC's with UGA in a heartbeat.
Gus and Mullen are a combined 1-7 vs Kirby so I'm assuming you think those guys are even worst
than Kirby?

Kirby is right that it’s just coach speak. But in this case, it’s an accurate description. UGA, talent-wise, should blow Auburn off the field. If it doesn’t happen, which I’m assuming is Richt’s concern, it reflects pretty poorly on him. UGA beating Auburn handily is what the talent disparity says should happen

That's Gus creating the feeling that we're playing the team with the "best talent in the league"... it's motivation bullshite. And if you think that he won't do the same fricking thing when you play Alabama, you're out of your mind. You talk up whatever the good is about your opponent each week in order to maintain the message that your team better show up ready to play.
It's not rocket science. Kirby called it out accurately and someone got in their feelings about it.
