Definitely the most overinflated “award” in the history of awards. Would college football fans rather have their team win a national title, or one of their players win this overrated “vote” award?

He drops 300 yards and 4 TDs against Alabama in a win in the SEC championship game, at a minimum he's probably invited to New York

Right, you were eliminated by a loss you took before losing to us.

LSU fans.

Yes, that's right, Alabama had nothing to do with LSU's elimination from competing for the championship this season.

Luckily, Alabama also didn't really hurt Daniels' chances at the Heisman by allowing him to gain 382 total yards and 3 TDs in only 3 quarters of work.

Meanwhile, BK has Jayden playing in the 4th quarter against Ga State.

Daniels put up very good passing numbers against UGA for one half while playing on one foot. He couldn’t even run but he lit UGA up from the pocket.

Kirby sure is butt hurt LSU kicked the crap out of him in 2018 and 2019. His going for 2 points last year was laughable. None of those players or coaches on last year’s team were around back then. What was he trying to prove?

4000 or so yards passing, 73% completions 13-0..#1 team

You are wrong. No chance he wins, definitely in contention for an invite.

Why are you wondering? This isn’t very hard to grasp.

Because Alabama has a game this week against their arch rivals, and then a game for the SEC championship following that. Neither game against LSU. Why Alabama fans would concern themselves with the Tigers who are out of contention, and their QB that has a slim chance to win the Heisman really shouldn't even be on Alabama fans' radar.

But here we are.

The guy that started the thread is a UGA fan, so nothing you said is relevant to the conversation.

Sorry, I mistook you for another Alabama fan talking about Daniels, EarlyCurly.

Let me rephrase:

Because Georgia has a game this week against their arch rivals, and then a game for the SEC championship following that.

The thread isn’t about Daniels though. He’s just the easiest example because the LSU defense is so bad. If you’re on a team with a really good to elite defense you will have a hard time winning the Heisman, unless you run up the score or you maintain your level of performance over multiple seasons.

I will add that it also hurts Carson that he’s in a more efficiency offenses and doesn’t run much.

People downvoting you but need to go check the latest Heisman odds.

He’ll be in NYC just like Stet

The fact that you brought this up out of nowhere shows that it still bothers you.

Why would Kirby be thinking about a 3 loss LSU

Kirby’s point is valid. That being said I don’t know the BK is to be criticized for needing JH to win or even if he’s trying to help him win the award. Shouldn’t a coach be an advocate for his players?

Then the OP should not have included him in the first post of the thread.

It hurts Carson that he's just not as good as the players ahead of him in the Heisman odds.

That is subjective. I do not think he is as good as Daniels but he could be better than Bo and Penix. I do not believe the PAC is close to the SEC. They are benefiting from a weaker conference and playing in a more wide open offense.
