well Milliner just sucks. i dont think examples need to be brought up to prove it. who would argue that?
Well, according to this season, he is tied for 1st nationally in passes broken up and tied 2nd nationally for total passes defended(PBUs + INTs)...

Bama has swag Patrick...i can't say If he helped out or not, but I never read anything about him assisting in developing the younger DB's.
He was a first time starter last year too, so how exactly is he supposed to assist in developing other players when he is green himself?

You obviously didn't see my reasoning in posting that. I even said why I posted it, yet I guess it still went straight over your head.

Milliner is not bad at all, he was just a true freshman starter in the SEC.

Menzie is better than both Kirkpatrick and Milliner

No I saw it. He said milliner sucks off that play so you say Claiborne sucks off one play. Problem is you won't find much more of Claiborne getting burned on plays. Same can't be said for milliner.... He has enough for highlight reel from last year of his blown coverages.

I agree. He had a few blown coverages last year, at inopportune times. But overall, as a freshman, he did pretty well. By the time he's gone, he'll have been a large part of probably 3, top 5 defenses in the country. Not too shabby.

cause teams are picking on him; or at least trying to. although it seems like teams are going more towards Menzie now. i guess they gotta throw it somewhere and nobody has seemed eager to throw it at dre

I'll use your excuse: He was young. He was a true freshman playing in the SEC.

So you admit his hype was/is all based on potential?
Peterson had the FB IQ. He understood the game and assisted in developing younger DB's by spreading along his knowledge and techniques. he didn't have much of a school IQ though.

So while claiborne got immensely better, Milliner stayed the same all last year.... K Both made their first starts last year. Oh and let's not forget Claiborne was injured in the Bama game and in comes Simon. He looked to hold his own then and now.
At least you are finally admitting it.

It's kinda like with Dre and the USCe game.
What is embedded in people's minds is the bad play he gave up, so they assume he had a bad game against Jeffery.
People are so overly crucial on Dee about the bad things he did compared to the success he had as a true freshman starter.
Was he fantastic? No, but he could have done a hell of a lot worse...

I didn't see it. Still getting burned in November while Claiborne led the team in INT's.

So a guy who has never started before is all hype if he doesn't help coach up the other guys who have never started before? Only a fricking LSU fan could come up with some shite like that.

its not all hype from potential. he did enough last year to show he can do it. you can turn on the tape and see that he is good. but he has even more potential, and when you combine the two, nfl scouts get hard.
also, Swagpatrick makes his teammates better with his swagabilities. the other guys feed off that shite too. errbody got swagga now, even will lowery
