They've been taking Lane to LSU harder than us Ole Miss fans.

But it's a valid question. If OP is so astonished that Kiffin is not coaching LSU in the bowl game that he had to make 2 threads in consecutive days to post about it, surely he could name another coach that got hired onto a new team and started by coaching their bowl game.

I've been looking for an example, but I've discovered something interesting. It seems that coaches of playoff bound teams don't leave to take jobs at lesser teams that only play in meaningless bowls. Makes perfect sense now.

You can't go to a holiday party w/o LSU being the subject. No one even cares about the rest of the conference & their situations. Everything is LSU.

5 threads on the front page from other fanbases that mention LSU.

We've reached such levels of obsession, that folks are blasting LSU for doing the same things as everyone else.

Next up, they'll be criticizing LSU players for wearing shoulder pads.

This boring, insecure conference has nothing else to talk about. There's not even another state in the SE that even is interesting to talk about & discuss.

Hey "Pastor" Mike: is Labor Day a holy day?

No LSU booster stole money from the OLOL Children's Foundation for LSU. He embezzled money for HIMSELF. LSU became "involved" because part of his embezzlement scheme was to pay the father of a FORMER LSU Football player a salary to do little to nothing. Most of said salary went back to the embezzler.

Get your facts straight. "Pastors" should not lie to the public even on sports message boards.

Another gump thread about LSU.
Y'all just had the GREATEST 7-5 season in College football history, giving y'all a 5th (at least 4 loss season) in the last 6 years. Bama fans certainly can't compare.

I asked AI and this is what it told me: (a direct quote)
Yes, an LSU booster named John Paul Funes admitted to embezzling funds from the Our Lady of the Lake Foundation, which supports a children's hospital, and directed some of that money to the father of a former LSU football player.
Details of the Case
The Booster: John Paul Funes was the former president and CEO of the Our Lady of the Lake Foundation, a non-profit organization.
The Embezzlement: Funes pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering, admitting to stealing nearly $800,000 over a seven-year period. The stolen funds were used for personal expenses, including charter flights for family and friends to LSU and New Orleans Saints games (falsely logged as "outbound patient transports"), and gift cards intended for cancer patients.
Payments to Player's Family: As part of the scheme, Funes directed approximately $180,000 of the embezzled money to the father of former LSU offensive lineman Vadal Alexander. The payments were disguised as compensation for a "no-show job" or for little to no work.

180,000 is nothing to sneeze at I might add. Also, you missed the broader allegation of one of your own - who - just because I put an 'lol' emoji on a post, had an absolute melt-down and started screaming at the sky and accused me of embezzling money from the church to give to my team. So I guess you could say - tit-for-tat. Your booster's fraud just happens to be the only one with a modicum of truth to it. I didn't lie anywhere in this thread

Additionally - the funds he embezzled for himself occurred from 2012-2015, which COINCIDENTALLY were the very years "former" LSU offensive lineman Vadal Alexander was playing for LSU. Which just happens to be the years he gave 180,000 to the father of Vadal Alexander for doing nothing. "Just so happens." Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
