lol by your logic Coach O at LSU is a better coach than Kiffin at Ole Miss. what a swing and a miss take

Coach O at LSU .738
Kiffin at Ole Miss .726

Orgeron at LSU was better than Kiffin at Ole Miss, he wasn't a better coach though.

I mean O never even won an SEC game at Ole Miss.

I don't look solely at win percentage, but it is a big part of the bigger picture. Certainly more important than Biletnikoff winners or one off playoff appearances.

Also, O was .718 at LSU, not .738.

We have different definitions of bombing and he has been successful everywhere.

He had a winning record in his 1 year at Tennessee before leaving for his dream/better job at USCw. His winning record at Tennessee was immediately after a Fulmer losing record and followed by 4 straight losing records after he left.

USCw likely jumped the gun in firing him so early thinking they were a stronger program than they actually were. Kiffin had a winning record every season at USCw, even while being on probation. He just wasn't Pete Carroll.

He had a winning record at FAU in 2 of 3 seasons, where there were 8 straight 500 or below seasons before Kiffin and 5 straight losing seasons after Kiffin.

lol I listed almost 10 reasons why Heupel is better and has achieved more. You were the one who originally commented about their percentages. And I know you love your win percentages so here’s this for your big picture:

Overall coaching career
Heupel .739
Kifffin .677

By this token, Brian Kelly is a better coach than Heupel and Ed Orgeron is a better coach than both.

Hells bells. There's a six letter word that should have been front and center in most of this discussion.
SEXTON
Jimmy Sexton, the mastermind behind Kiffin, and most of these coaches. Tennessee was stupid that Sexton was also the money man making deals and who had Tennessee's athletic director in his stable.
Sexton has become very, very rich collecting his percent of his pawns, and he is according to some a close personal friend of Nick Saban.

Sexton has done a lot of damage to programs putting his clients into jobs and then getting them more money as the word goes out that someone else wants to hire them. Puppet master, pulling the strings, counting the money rolling in.

Pretty easy to make every metric favor Heupel when you literally tailor the metrics to him.

Not all of us, water under the bridge as far as I am concerned. It isn’t even Lane that we should be mad at. The anger should be at our former administration that left the door open for us to get hosed like that.

They didn’t make it the least bit difficult for some other school to poach our guy. It was like a $400k buyout. Just idiots at the highest levels of our AD for YEARS.

He’s a good coach I’d rather him not get the resources of Florida behind him

It’s nice to see you still have not recovered from him leaving your school.

The guy that leads SEC shorts did say the two fan bases that whine the most are the Vols and Auburn.

Seems pretty simple to me.

Tennessee as a program > Ole Miss as a program.

Kiffin as a coach > Heupel

Saying otherwise to either is just biased.

What the hell? Are you guys from Tennessee kidding me? Drawing up a comparison between our coach amd yours? I think Heupel is a good to great coach. Kiffin is better. Tennessee has so much more resources than the poorest state in the Union. Quick question who was the opponent who last beat Josh Heupel’s team when he played football?

I’ll save you looking it up. It was the same team that beat him as a coach in 2021 when you people threw trash on our players (and even worse our cheerleaders). I hardly ever root for Mississippi State in anything except obesity records. But this weekend we are all Bulldogs. Some of you losers need therapy.

Would love to see the punkass at UF......He's been a failure in everything in life. Can't hold a marriage together....Man cost UT 3 recruiting classes. He will leave Ole Miss in shambles....Florida deserves the punk!

You will be disappointed. I noticed Kiffin's daughter is hanging out with Weeks. Might it be a way to get Kiffin to LSU after Kelly is gone?

You always know football season is in full swing when the “Lane to (insert current location of unrest)” stories start revving up.

Tennessee had 4 straight losing seasons because the punk left in mid-January.His 1st recruiting class left......The recruiting class for that year was lost....Tennessee tried to salvage that class by panic hiring Dooley......Bottom line...He's a low class punk that I hope ends up in Florida.
