Lane is not exactly what I would call a offensive mastermind. Bama would have another Natty in the trophy case if Lane would have just stuck with what was working in the 2014 Semifinal game. Henry was absolutely killing Ohio St running the ball but Kiffin lost his damn mind all of a sudden and started throwing the ball and it allowed Ohio St to not only get back into the game and eventually take control and win the game. He hasn’t changed to much since that game.
