Kiffin is being sneaky laying out rat poison for the Ags. He should be ignored.

Unless tougher OOC games are HEAVILY favored, it probably doesnt make sense to do them.

You run into the phrase "but XXX team is undefeated, how can one rank a one loss team above them?"

The way it is now, it makes more sense to just schedule as many cupcake teams as possible and hope you dont fold when you play a real team.

ESPECIALLY, if you aren't a blue blood. Blue bloods tend to get more benefits of the doubt when they have a loss. The other teams (like A&M) will get dinged much harder.

Notre Dame could have scheduled 2 creampuffs instead of Miami and A&M, if they had they would be #1 right now because no team has come within 10 points of them besides those 2. Yes they are Independent but they play a tougher schedule than most ACC or B1G teams and much tougher than a Big 12 team (which makes Joey McGuire after the Tech win over BYU complaining about their schedule look ridiculous as he talked about BYU as if they were Ohio State).

You have to reward teams that try to schedule good teams otherwise no one will and you will just have conferences playing themselves and buyout games.

Iowa has zero athleticism lol Their entire OL will be in the NFL. That was a LOS game. I would love for an SEC team to come to Oregon in December
“line of scrimmage game” that’s hilarious you feel the need to make a point of that. Nearly every big SEC game is like that. Iowa sucks arse they were one of the slowest teams we played in 2023.

Ohio State beat Texas. tOSU scheduled Texas.
Texas sucks, especially at the start of the season. They've come on a little better recently. After that Washington is Ohio States second toughest game. Hey maybe the big 10 was on to something, bring in a ton of trash teams so your better teams never have to play a game they might lose

The bottom line is that Ohio State, Indiana, and Notre Dame were in the playoffs last year - so they received a bump for this year.

So A&M just has to deal with the fact that they are behind in the pecking order as far as the committee is concerned, despite what the resume shows.

A&M can only control what they can control. The rest will get sorted over time.

They played in a monsoon. That was the point.

Athleticism is mitigated when the ball is slippery

I think UGA should be ranked over A&M.

2.5 games. They’ve got solid line play on both sides of the ball and that’s about it. I watched a replay of them against Iowa State. They are cooked against teams that can stop the run. As usual they’ve not beaten anyone worth a damn.

Here’s the problem:

* some may say that Aggie should be ranked #1

* nobody will say that Aggie is the best team in the nation

Do ya see the difference?

A&M is getting penalized because they miss Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss and anyone with a pulse in the SEC.

Indiana got Oregon at Oregon in conference. Sometimes you just get unlucky

"I think UGA should be ranked over A&M."

Sorry but the committee determined that your mascot slobbers too much. Ours is much more classy.

Ohio State bitch slapped the SEC last season and so far this season. They should be #1 until the SEC shows they can beat Ohio State.

And that’s no different than Mizzou or anyone A&M beat in conference

Iowa has a good back 7, TEs, slot receiver and their #1 WR is back.

They’ve found an offense because they have a competent qb

Their QB sucks arse. He’s worse than anyone I’ve seen at UT since y’all hammered us 15 years ago. As for Aggie, I’d take Auburn, LSU, Mizzou, Miss ST over Iowa. I’d take Florida based off quality of athlete but I’ll omit them because it looks like they’ve quit. Why did you bring up Mizzou? They are bang average and not a part of the conversation between you and Aggie.

This just shows your true colors.

You just have a bias. It’s okay I guess.

He has a point.

Look no further than this site. Everyone wants to focus on A&M's SEC schedule when winning @ ND is just as good of a win as any win that Georgia, Ole Miss, tx, or Vandy have.

No use in scheduling tough OOC games if you don't get credit for winning them.

It should be 1. OSU 2. A&M 3. Indiana

Yes A&M has better SoS and SOR. OSU better in the predictive metrics

The differentiator should be Indiana is penalized for not playing a P4 non-conference opponent. That’s bad behavior that needs to be punished and force everyone to play a P4 non-con

It’s good for the sport to have those matchups
