A&M won't hire Petrino. It's never the name that gets out early (unless you're Auburn).
Fun message board fodder. But the fact that Petrino's name is out there days ahead of when he's supposed to be "interviewed" pretty much guarantees he's a smokescreen.

Or how predictable of a hire Harsin was. Everybody saw that coming.
Chizik didn’t surprise anyone either, that’s why he got such a warm welcome when he landed at the airport after his hire was announced.
The only predictable HC hire for Auburn in my memory was Malzahn, and even then anybody with a brain was calling for Smart
