HIPAA only applies to covered entities and business associates. So no, HIPAA doesn’t apply unless the person disclosing falls into those categories.

Are they sharing their own info or someone else’s? While HIPAA doesn’t apply unless it’s a disclosure by a covered entity or their business associates, other state privacy laws might be implicated depending on the facts.

How were they able to expand eastward when their core competency was being limited to the west for 'freshness' of ingredients?

For now they are relying on their Texas distribution system until it's built out in the Tennessee region. There is a constant supply of their trucks running the interstates around town lately.
What's with the secret menu? Why can't they just tell you what they sell?
Middle Tennessee locations opened up in Lebanon and Antioch this morning, with Murfreesboro later this week.

Franklin is the company's new eastern headquarters, so expect many more locations expanding outward from here soon.

I've never had it. Is it overrated or worth the hype?

Edited because I'm directionally challenged
Sorry for the downer post of the day, but something has to be done about these dogs...

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tullahoma Police Department is investigating a fatal dog mauling that reportedly left a 50-year-old and his infant granddaughter dead in Coffee County.

According to a report from the district attorney for the 14th District of Tennessee, Tullahoma PD officers were called to a reported dog mauling in the 900 block of East Warren Street at around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. The report states that officers arrived and observed pitbulls actively mauling an infant.

The officers immediately shot the dogs to stop the attack. Once the dogs were euthanized, the officers confirmed that the dogs had killed 50-year-old James Smith and his 3-month-old granddaughter.

“This was an especially difficult and brutal scene,” the DA said. “Please pray for the family of the victims in this difficult time, as well as the first responders, as they cope with the trauma from what they witnessed.”
Legit. You're gonna get paid, and actually could be a lot this time.
Someone tried to slip in language banning legal THC products and Rand Paul noticed and got pissed.
I’ve got a 21 Limited with around 60k miles. No mechanical issues at all and I love it. Ram also has the best looking interior IMO.

Tivimate with IPTV is the best interface I’ve seen anywhere.
Save a ton of money and time and just get a honey bear bottle from the grocery store.
Removing the filibuster would be stupid and short sighted. Trump is wrong on this.
What about all the rap that’s in country music lately?
If they actually follow the teachings of the Mormon church then they’re not Christians. So I'm not sure which god you’re referring to when you say they’re more godly.
LSU makes coaches. We don’t need a high profile coach to win a natty (see Saban, Miles, Orgeron). Let’s reward them for their success but pay for their results.
Akebia tanking in after hours. Failed to get FDA approval for vafseo for non dialysis patients.

Down around 22% now.

quote:

today announced that after meeting with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) it has not come to alignment on a path forward for the design of the VALOR clinical trial for the use of vadadustat to treat anemia in patients with late-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) not on dialysis. As a result, Akebia does not plan to initiate VALOR and therefore does not expect to pursue a broad label for Vafseo for CKD non-dialysis dependent patients. Akebia recently completed a Type C meeting with the FDA. While Akebia has not yet received final meeting minutes from the face-to-face Type C meeting, based on the FDA feedback, Akebia believes regulatory alignment for such a trial would require a significantly larger number of patients than proposed, and accordingly would require meaningfully more time and cost to complete. “Because we remain steadfast in our belief of the significant unmet need for an oral option to treat anemia in CKD patients not on dialysis, we are disappointed in the outcome of the meeting,” said John P. Butler, Chief Executive Officer at Akebia. “We believe our decision not to pursue a broad NDD-CKD label, based on our discussion with the FDA, is in the best interests of our shareholders. We were encouraged by the discussion with FDA on smaller subgroups of CKD patients where we may be able to align on a potential clinical trial design and path forward. Importantly, everyone at Akebia will continue to work toward our goal to make Vafseo standard of care for patients on dialysis.”

It's gonna be Gruden

For LSU. He spoke to the team in 2025 (I think) and called himself a Tiger For Life. Also spoke about his desire to coach in the SEC.

I imagine mmmmmmmbeer’s secret would be that he jerks off to his daughter.
1.2 trillion reasons to bring that manufacturing stateside.
