$12.4 is the number. Will be interesting to see where Florida pivots
No chance. That would be stupid.

Remember when Beard was going to Arkansas? I do...

thats a heckuva lot of money, but money gets money... if done right.
I bet ole Lane has paid for his benefits over and over again via tix sales, increases in giving, etal...
Not a bad investment to remain in non-championship conversation however.
As a hog fan, just give me BP for the nostalgic ride (no pun intended) for 5-6 years.

Has he signed??
Everyone says it’s “on his desk” but if he’s all n on OM why hasn’t he stopped the sideshow by signing it and being done so he can focus on his team???

$12.4 on a coach that has quite literally never won shite at any level he's ever coached.
There should be a case study on the amount of failing up Lane has done throughout his career. It has to be unmatched.

Wouldn’t you if you were them?

Close friend of mine says it’s a done deal. Will wait until the miss state loss to make it official.

Does this mean he leaves before the season is over or will Kiffin finish what he started at Ole Miss?

He won some nattys as an OC at Alabama. So that's LITERALLY not the case .
And: you sound mad. Why you mad? He isn't your coach. You shouldn't be so mad. It's not good for you.

Was that supposed to happen because some booger eating moron in the Arkansas fanbase said he was?

LOL what?
You don't honestly believe this, right? He turned a post-Matt Luke/mini-death penalty Ole Miss into a program with the 3rd most wins in the SEC during his 6 seasons. You can think whatever about him but saying he has only failed is downright idiotic.

So Ole Miss is about to make a guy who has never made the CFP, has never won a conference title, and has never played for a conference title the second highest paid coach in America behind only Kirby Smart and right in line with Ryan Day.
Better to start over with an unknown coach from the Sunbelt or to give Lane $12m?
Ask UF about Sunbelt hires.

Why hasn’t he signed the deal?
12.4 mil to stay at a place you all say he’s so happy to be at should’ve been a done deal the second it was printed.
Right??

No idea if he will sign it or not, but let's not pretend that he's the first every employee to negotiate for more money with an employer - even if happy at their current job.

But to answer your question, yes. He’s the best coach we’ve had since Johnny Vaught and has transformed our program and brand that garners national attention. People don’t realize just how much the AD and the local economy has exploded and transformed since he got here.

It's been reported that Florida is offering 7 years for $93m (13.3m per year)

No bro, I was told by many a Rebel fan it’s not about money, he loves Oxford and his fam is very happy there and he’ll die on the 50 yard line.
