On the kickoff return in the Auburn at Ole Miss football game at 5:43 in the 4th quarter, the SEC has determined the replay official should have stopped the game for further review of the play. In the football officiating replay process every play is reviewed but, when appropriate, the game is stopped for further review.

Because the play was not appropriately stopped for further review, the necessary slow-motion view of the play was not viewed by the replay official to determine if the ruling on the field should have been reversed.

The SEC Office conducted a review of the play and appropriately communicated its findings above to Ole Miss head football coach Lane Kiffin and other athletics department personnel per conference protocol.

Kiffy, what you say is, "The sec does not allow comment on piss poor officiating, or great officiating ". Done, you get over on them, then beat the fine.

I hope he points it out every time.

Here's a link to a snippet of his press conference today which was directly after he met with the SEC:

I’ll never understand why criticizing officials is so taboo to fine coaches over it

3 game saving calls is not luck. It’s rigged.

Some dude on Finebaum said the replay official's daughter was a AU grad or something to that effect...I have no idea but I heard him say it.

Maybe the officials should do better if they don't want to be criticized publicly. I think that Ole Miss should fine the SEC for fricking up our game.

The SEC should have suspended those officials.
If you keep coaches from commenting on things that seriously affect their careers, the conference should act swiftly and sternly when obvious wrongs are done
