When he finishes spring practice and realizes states defense will be a train wreck again next year he can make the jump. He will be 18 and his parents can’t hold him hostage at a MAC school.

In the past before free transfers at will in the portal, yes, I can see this. The players have more freedom of movement now and more power. It's one of the few good things about the portal. But, even so, I'm not sure it justifies all of the bad.

A Mississippi State beat writer explaining what happened isn’t going to say “yeah the coaching staff held his brother’s scholarship hostage”. He’s going to explain what happened in a way that’s accurate but one that won’t get him on the coaching staff’s shite side.

Bro you absolutely embarrassed and debased yourself in this thread. You made the most insane accusation ever and then confidently provide your evidence….that in no way supports your claim. The crazy thing is that it’s clear you believe every word you said unconditionally - not a doubt in your mind. Are you active on the poli board?

Why is it insane? You have no knowledge of in state recruiting in MS. This type of stuff has been going on for decades.
Ole Miss got his financial papers. Ole Miss Posted he had signed. Tyler re-tweeted the signing post by the school with shark emoji’s. Then hours later, State posted his signing post. Tyler didn’t take down his OM re-tweet until 11:00 last night.

A&M had a similar situation years ago with a defensive back, Floyd Raven.
Don’t remember all the details but I think it was he wanted to go to A&M, his mother wanted Ole Miss or a different school, and created a situation with either a forged fax or didn’t sign off on the A&M one, I’m forgetting a few of the details. But it was a weird story, guy was a 4 star recruit so fairly coveted by schools. He did end up coming to A&M when it was all said and done.

Ummm HJJ embarrassed himself while you have a poster on here from State saying that thier HC had the recruit call CLK and PG from his office to “troll” our staff. Why aren’t you calling that out? Why are you doubting what Rebel Grove and The Spirit are both reporting and State beat writers are basically verifying without the blackmail aspect spelled out for a smooth brain product of trailer park incest like you…..

2013 Momma didn't want son to be a razorback:

"The papers are not there. I've been told by two different sources that Alex Collins' mom confiscated the papers and took off and ran with them. They are looking for her currently. From what I understand, Alex is not at the school right now, he is looking for his mom. She was quite torn up about him leaving."

Oh it’s more than that. Lebby called his mom and said his older brother (a freshman on the Mississippi State team) wouldn’t have a spot on the team if he didn’t sign with State. So the entire day after his announcement and after he signed the paperwork for Ole Miss, his mom absolutely refused to sign the documents.
So Mississippi State’s coaching staff essentially held his brother’s scholarship hostage and got his mom to force him to sign with them.
Sounds like that kid isn’t going to LOVE his new coaching staff. It’s such a stupid and short sighted thing to do if you're Lebby. But they haven’t been known for making smart decisions on that staff.
Good Lord you're an idiot

I really don’t believe that State or Lebby would do this. The reputation you’d get would be hard to recruit against in the future, and all of it for one 4 star? Just doesn’t pass the smell test.
However, the kid did want to go to Ole Miss. Mom didn’t. He’s 17, so he’s going to State. The rest of the conspiracies about troll jobs and pulled scholarships are just retarded.
Edit: and the celebration of it all like it’s some kind of recruiting win from State is hilarious and pathetic.

Yes

Why aren’t you calling that out?
Good god you’re a small child caught with his hand in the cookie car. “But but, he did it too!!” But to answer your question, the issue at hand is intellectual integrity and that other claim, while also far fetched, didn’t reach the level of depravity and intellectual dishonesty that HJJ displayed when he claimed he had evidence supporting his claim and then tried to pass something off that in no way supported the claim. I’m sure this is all going over your head though.

This is your angle? As a Mississippian? Weak. Not just the response: you are weak.

So I don’t know if the part about the brothers scholarship is true or not but it’s certainly being claimed by people on state boards which doesn’t really mean much. The closest thing I’ve seen to that part of it being true is a screen shot of a Demetric Warren On3 post of him saying that’s what happened. No idea how to post the picture but I’m not sure it matters. He’s as shady as it comes though when it comes to highschool recruiting in Mississippi and is probably not a super reliable source.

Well, up until yesterday morning he wanted to go to State.
I think the simplest and most likely explanation is a 17 year old kid changed his mind twice in one day, with guidance from his parents.
But Occam’s Razor has no place on tRant.

wtf are you even going on about in this thread?
You're trying to rail on HJJ for being wrong about something when you've done absolutely nothing at all to prove otherwise. How about you stop embarrassing yourself and actually provide some sort of substance.
You're really coming off as demented and unnecessarily irate. Go grab some coffee and touch grass.

according to your coaches and writers. I'm sure our coaches and writers were told differently by him.

I agree. But there is a ton of drama surrounding this regardless of which side's story is correct. It's definitely a "pick your poison" of drama that I'd rather not risk having in a locker room being that he isn't a blue chip recruit. If the rumor is true that he was in Lebby's office and called Lane to troll him.....while continuing it by going as far as signing the paperwork, faxing it in, sharing posts about it, etc......then I sure as shite don't want that.
I always liked and respected Lebby so I hope that this isn't the case.
