If you watch the other angles of the video of that its pretty clear that Elston was a good yard from drake. Even BAMA fans are saying on twitter to Elston that they know he didn't kick Drake so stop your bs. Get over the loss.

Now back on topic of what really matters:

My friend thats a trainer said that Drake has multiple fractures (4+) and it will require surgery. I wonder if the previous injury he had earlier in the game might have had an impact. Its sad that it happened. I hope he has a speedy recovery and can return to the field next year.

My heart and prayers go out to this young man. That was tough to watch. Here's to hoping he has a speedy, 100% recovery.

Pretty clear this angle shows a foot touching Drake.

Sports Illustrated says he did... SBnation says he did... etc etc.. Video shows he did.

pretty sure he went out earlier with the other knee. And I agree, there's nothing to this "kick". Sour grapes and frustration of losing the game and Drake.

You're convinced he was stomping due to what looks like a shoe lace dragging across him, yet there are multiple videos of Day doing le double foot hippity hop on a mother fricker and you fight to the death for his innocence. I hope a darkhorse pounds your colon in your throat.

Follow the ball on the last one. The ball is already out while he is just starting to raise his leg. Then look at Elstons heel on the way down. Was not the ball.

He, with intention, kicked/stomped Drake... his reason does not matter. Drake's injury does not factor into it either.... However, the suspension the SEC gave Elston might factor into their decision to suspend him again for this.

Both of the video's above show a heel. But whatever you want to tell yourself.

Oh just stop. They are playing "foot" ball where a foot is the least lethal weapon. Leave crying to LSU for christsakes.

I don't think it was that violent and he was trying to kick the ball out. I don't think he intended to injure Drake in any way. At most, it was just a crappy thing to do while he was writhing in pain, but didn't add to the injury in any way. Nothing a personal apology to Drake in private shouldn't fix. No need to get overblown in the media. Imho.

I don't think he was trying to get the ball out, but like I said. His reason does not matter. SHould not have happened.

There is a video with the audio out there. You see the hit/tackle of Drake, hear the screams, and then see the kick.

Good lord,

Dude was kicking his way out of that cluttered mess of players. There's nothing more to it. Don't see why so many people are having a hard time observing that.

He was not in the cluttered mess. He was standing when he did it. Was never on the ground to get tangled up in the mess of players. National media is even picking up on it too.

Just saw Vine of Trae Elston stepping on Kenyan Drake’s head after that injury. Looks suspension-worthy to me.

It's probably not any worse than what Dillon Day did, but it's going to look worse because Drake had a broken leg

quote:

For those asking, it was Trae Elston who kicked Drake during injury. Bad look. Granted, Elston didn't know ankle had snapped, but still...
