Before the foul trouble started he could have given DJ minutes at the point. Put the focus on Thomas, who was hot last night, and Richmond, who's been on a heater for the last month.
But that requires actual coaching.
Have you guys forgotten we watched him for 15 seasons. Heard him say MANY times this time of year he has to figure out a way to get his starting PG more rest.
Buy hey, it’s Cals best PG ever so I’m sure the kid can handle the minutes.

Pretty sure you're confusing what you guys said when Cal failed to make the tournament in '21, got bounced in the first round as a 2 seed against St Mary's in '22, lost the second game to Kansas St in '23, and finally lost to Oakland in the first game as a 3 seed in '24.
You guys were brutal, would pay money for those receipts.

Dude is an unbelievable talent and was unconscious the other night, but yeah, when you gather a board at the rim and go coast-to-coast for a drive at the other rim without even looking at a teammate, and then do that back-to-back-to-back, sure you're going average 22+.
I mean damn in the first half there was a legitimate stretch where no one else for Arkansas even touched the ball.
Kudos to him though, against a porous defense like ours it almost worked.
