I normally like LSU and their teams. They are good for the conference an are always competitive, but the Tiger fans on this board are either idiots or have a mental issue with anything Alabama. My advice is get a life out there in this big world. Find a good couch doctor or something. Yikes!!@

What does any of this have to do with Bama increasing DeBoer's buyout?

Should let him go to Michigan.

He's about to earn the name 4 loss DeBoer.

Sure, but for the first time in 20 years, LSU has the coaching advantage going forward.

You're right.

We should all be terrified of the number of championships Lane Kiffin has as a head coach.

Dude is 2-0 against your favorite team. The combined scores in those games were 62- 22. I'm guessing you're an idiot or something.

I missed the part where Kiffin has been coaching LSU the last 2 years. Bama no longer has a coaching advantage over LSU.

Buckle up gump, you and the rest of Tuscaloser is in for a bumpy ride.

Hey, if you guys want to give an even bigger contract to a guy with 7 losses in his first 2 seasons, be my guest.

BK had 7 losses in his first 2 seasons but luckily, LSU wasn't stupid enough to extend him and/or give him a raise.

Were any other schools trying to hire him during his coaching tenure at LSU?

I have no idea, luckily, Sexton wasn't his agent.

Kiffin has a lower buyout than Kelly did.

Right. The point is, it's more likely than not that the only reason KDB is getting a raise/extension is because other schools are reaching out to Sexton to inquire about his availability.

It's not like the coaching carousel has ended and Byrne just randomly decided to offer a raise/extension based on KDB's record his first two years in Tuscaloosa.

LSU and idiot are synonymous. Take a lap for telling us what everyone already knows.

No doubt, but if a guy has 7 losses in 2 seasons, you don't make it even HARDER to fire him. I said the same about Kelly at the time.

He has 6 years remaining on his contract with 90% guaranteed, show me something first.

You do if the alternative is him leaving for another job. Look at the current coaching market, if KDB leaves right now Bama is fricked. Not to mention it could set the program back a number of years if you have a complete staff, system, and roster overhaul. Sure, it's not a great idea to make it harder to fire someone with 7 losses in 2 seasons, except when the alternative is even worse.

That's not how things work these days and you know it.
