Osu or Michigan are basically lateral moves. And, they have easier paths.

But, he isn't going anywhere

The average Alabama fan does not posses the ability to comprehend why anyone would not want to coach there, or leave after accepting the job. All they need to do is open their eyes and look at a mirror.

Miss Terry is either in the bottom of a bottle, pill or liqueur, or at 5 therapy sessions a week.

Fixed for nostalgia

Not even close.

Kiffin to Bama is the most contrived thing this board has concocted. Thats saying something.

Be sure to let me know the next time a HC leaves Bama for another college job and wins a natty there.

If being the HC of Bama chews you up and spits you out to the point you want out, you weren’t ever going to win a Natty. If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I’ll have to disagree with you on that, but DeBoer doesn’t seem like a good fit for Bama. It may come down to something that simple.

Brah, we will be nervous all the time, regardless of which job comes open.

No doubt. Regardless of which jobs are open, Bama will always get their first or second choice.

4 Bammers just proved my point. Clay Travis' column was spot on!

You would have to be nuts to leave Alabama for Michigan unless he just doesn’t like the competition in this conference.

Also, I hear sark is available for the Alabama job. Would it help if I begged?

Coaching at Alabama has a stress level all its own. He knew what he was signing up for there. It’s not like he’s been a complete bust. They are in the playoffs. But it’s not like Michigan is Purdue or Maryland. They have a history of a lot of success. They are arrogant as frick though, like Ivy League arrogance

Yeah, I could see that I imagine the pressure at Alabama is pretty crazy. Michigan is a step down from Alabama though. Not a huge step but a step nonetheless.

And if you can’t handle it, you probably aren’t Natty material (outside of a fluke LSU 2019 or AU 2010 situation). Kirby could handle it, Day had something similar at OSU and barely survived, Harbaugh had to cheat, Dabo had a good thing going but looks like pressure is finally getting to him.

Natty winners usually “eat pressure for breakfast.” DeBoer either can hang, or he can’t. If he leaves, he probably didn’t have it in him anyway. Next man up if needed
