Yes, I agree, our backfield is good, no doubt. Stingley and Delpit are really good... But could they shut down Fields. Yes, they can, if they put defensive pressure on him. That is the key, just like it will be for Saturdays game. We will see what happens.

I am pretty sure most people in the country are craving this game

A NFL starting defensive backfield with a couple NFL starting defensive ends against LSU's offense

A few NFL starting players on LSU against that defense

A couple NFL starting RBs and couple WR against LSUs defense and the the best college football QB for the next couple years against that defense

Its gonna be good. If Alabama didnt ruin it as usual.

Don’t get me wrong. Stingley and the other players you mentioned are very, very good. It’s just that we have Okudah, Wade and Arnette and a guy named Dobbins at RB.

Stingley shows incredible potential but he’s still raw. The three I mentioned at Ohio State are finished products.

Look at Cincinnati's schedule then get back with me lmao

look at Alabama’s!!

Y’all act like the SEC west is good or something?

LSU and Bama are great, Auburn is good... and the rest I’d take Memphis, Cincy, SMU, and UCF over all day long!!

Memphis 15-10 Ole Miss

LSU 58-37 Ole Miss....

Dang yalls defense just absolutely sucks!!

Yeah it sucks but it's a lot better. A&M, Ole Miss, etc. would paste those G5 teams

Memphis=Cincinnati I'd say. Ranked G5 teams. Also Plumlee didn't play in that game

OSU hasn't played an Offense NEAR the capabilities of LSU.

Ohio State sees a more capable offense every time they practice.

The only unknown about OSU is how Fields would handle a strong rush. Wisconsins excellent defense sacked him 4 times but he still delivered. LSU doesn't have that kind of pass rush and that concerns me. We will see how Fields does Saturday against a really good defensive line and linebackers. The concern there though is P-states D-backs. They are awful.

Burrow has played a lot better this year in a new offense. But overall, Fields has more upside.

Fields has had the luxury of playing a much softer schedule so nobody really knows how he would perform under pressure. In the one game he was hassled against Michigan state he was a non factor for a long portion of that game.

Hardly, just the first part of the 1st quarter as I recall.

To be honest, Fields upside is like nothing I have ever seen, and that goes back many years. He is a generational talent

We're talking offenses, not teams as a whole. LSU's offense>OSU's. OSU's defense>LSU's. Idk about OSU's ST, but LSU's is I'd say above average

Lmao so scoring on a short field after a turnover is as impressive as going 75+? You're the 4th best offense (though Bama had a significant edge over you in ypp)

fricking missed XP's thanks for reminding me. I concede OSU the edge in ST. Stingley is due for a return TD though
