Thank goodness, I'm glad that nobody on UGA staff didn't realize the upside of Fields. Imagine having likely a 5* Top 5/10 draft pick at QB on your roster and letting him walk.
Clemson made that move.
Alabama made that move.
Both Hurts and Bryant only lost two games and in both cases one of the two games were against the eventually National Champions....

Bama made the move because they had to. Clemson made it because they had a soft schedule for him to learn.

Fields was a heisman finalist snd one of the best players in the country.
