On Fox Sports South

Had never watched it before and didn't realize how that all went down. Wow.

He had 9 catches for like 220 against us the first time we played them that year. Came back and beat their arse for the SEC Title though.

That was one hell of a game. First win for us in Neyland since 1980 and it came against a really good Tennessee team.

Hobnail boot game

I think stepping on their face with a hobnail boot and breaking their nose is second degree battery...

I feel like someone should lay the audio of the call over the bootleg fight video that was posted on the Rant.

Dude that sits in front of me got overheated and somewhat "passed out." He doesn't drink, so I know he wasn't drunk. It was a hot day, though.

I ran to get him some water and pretty much missed the final drive. Worst day of my football life since the Herschel Walker game of 1980 (the night Neyland Stadium ran out of ice at halftime).

Growing up in Atlanta a UT fan, I have always hated UGA. So, having to watch Bill Bates get run over and hearing Uncle Larry make that call over and over just makes me want to vomit.

One of those games where you only needed to watch the final 5 minutes of the game to have seen the game play out.

This game is exactly why I hated Fulmer so much. Does he have us kick the ball deep? Oh hell no he squib kicks it and they get great field position. Then 3rd and Chavis gets in his patented Prevent package and Georgia finds a way to win the game. Georgia had no business winning that game. They played an excellent game not taking anything away from them but TN was way better on paper. Just another example of Fulmer pissing away so many talented teams that had a chance of winning a NT.

FWIW Kelly Washington didn't even catch that first TD pass. Terrible call, but we may not have had that legendary ending without that "touchdown" so

Can't do that but I can link to someone's Larry Munson tribute site, you can find the audio calls here:

While the stakes werent as high as some of the other games that have ended in crazy ways, this is my favorite game I have ever attended. Got tix that Friday from a coworker that couldnt go (in Savannah, GA) and took off.

I have never felt so drained after watching a win. I could have puked when UT scored, after being elated after the pick that seemed to seal the deal. Randy McMichael was an unsung hero that day, man he made some big grabs. I hate I missed rewatching this one.
